Chapter One: I'm WHAT

Okay I've decided to make this a full story. This is the story that follows the one shot I made and posted with Incandescent. I don't own the TVDU that goes to the creator and producers of the show.

Now without further adieu the First Chapter

(let's say that no one knows about the tryst in the woods for this) It has been four weeks since Caroline's meeting in the forest with Klaus. But Caroline started not feeling well two weeks ago. "I don't know Bon, not feeling well, feeling sick is not supposed to happen to me,." Caroline expressed her worry to her best friend. "I have no idea what could be wrong. I mean with you not being able to keep anything down does worry me." Bonnie spoke, trying to ease her friend's worries. "I mean I looked through my grimoires and found nothing on your condition. The only thing that would make sense with your symptoms is that you'd be pregnant." Bonnie said. Caroline laughed at her friend. "I'm a vampire, I can't get pregnant."

Later that day

Bonnie was looking through her grimoires and found a spell to reveal if someone was pregnant. When Caroline returned to the dorm after her last class before summer break. "Hey I found a spell that I want to try. Trust me okay." Caroline nodded her head "I trust you Bon." said Caroline. "All I need is your hand." Bonnie explained. Caroline gave Bonnie her hand, Bonnie started muttering in Latin. When Bonnie finished the spell Caroline's abdomen started to glow ever so slightly. "Bonnie what's happening?" Caroline asked in a slight panic. Bonnie had a huge smile plastered across her face "I did a spell to reveal if someone was pregnant and your abdomen glowed. That means you're pregnant." Bonnie explained while jumping for joy. "I'm WHAT?" Caroline yelled. Caroline looked down at her abdomen in shock. "But what I want to know is who the father is." Bonnie asked

Caroline thought back and the only option was Klaus. "Please don't be mad at me" Caroline pleaded with her friend. Bonnie immediately became worried for her friend. "It's okay Caroline, I won't judge you at all." Bonnie said, with complete trust in her eyes. "It's Klaus," Caroline said, closing her eyes not wanting to see her friend's reaction. "Klaus is the father, he is the only option." Caroline continued. "Caroline look at me," Bonnie started. Caroline opened her eyes to see tears in Bonnie's. "I'm not mad, just surprised. Why didn't you tell me you had been with Klaus?" Just as Bonnie finished the sentence Elena walked in.

"Who was with Klaus?" Elena asked as she set her stuff down on her bed. Caroline, not having the words, just raised her hand. Elena looked at her friend in shock. "Why didn't you tell me?" Elena said letting excitement slip into her voice. "You're not mad?" Caroline questioned. "Of course I'm not mad, Care you finally let yourself be happy for once. Why would I be mad?" Elena said looking at her friend. "Because it's Klaus and he tried to kill you," Caroline said. "And? Care if he makes you happy, that's all I care about." Elena explained "But anyway, why does Bonnie look ready to explode?" Elena asked. Caroline smiled slightly "Apparently I'm pregnant." Elena looked at her then had a smile on her face "So what I'm hearing is that I'm becoming an aunt." Elena said. All that Caroline did was shake her head. "How are you going to tell him?" Bonnie spoke up. Caroline's face paled. "He's in the middle of a war down in New Orleans, and I can't just text him or call him. What should I do?" Caroline looked to her friends.

"You go down and tell him. So there's a war we'll do our best to stay out of the way." Elena explained. Caroline looked at her friend. "We?" Elena and Bonnie looked at her like she was crazy. "Yes we. Do you really think that we would let you go alone?" Bonnie asked. Caroline's eyes started to water. "Looks like we have to pack for New Orleans." Caroline said through the tears. Bonnie and Elena went to hug their friend. Bonnie and Elena knew one thing while hugging Caroline they would do anything to protect Caroline and her baby.

Okay the first chapter down. I'm going to post the next chapter after this one. If all goes to plan you should have three or four chapters out at once.
