Chapter 18

"I wish Ren didn't bring a car too." He said to me.

"Why?" I asked.

"So I can relax. My hands hurt." He complained as I rolled my eyes.

"Really?"

He twisted both of his wrist still while driving. How does he manage that?

"Yep." He admitted.

"I think you should let me drive." I suggested.

"No way."

"Please?" I pleaded with the puppy dog face.

He thought about it. This is the first time I've done that to Devon. I never really imagined it would work.

"Fine." He finally agreed as I said "yes" happily.

He pulled over and got out while I just tried to go to the driver's seat. I did it clumsily as he went it with no problem whatsoever.

"You know how to get back home right?" He asked me.

"'Course." I said.

"Well, drive. And keep one hand on the arm holder okay?" He told me.

"Okay." I put my arm in the arm holder loosely. He grabbed my hand and instantly I felt warmthness.

I drove back into the highway. I knew how to drive well.

Later...

"Wakey wakey." I greeted him. We were in the parking lot of my house already.

"Just a minute..."

"I'm going to throw a bucket of cold water in your face." I warned him.

His eyes instantly popped out and he woke up, rubbing his eyes. This is very funny. Too hilarious. I laughed.

"Come on, lets go." I told him as I got out of the car with the keys.

"Coming." He told me.

I walked to the front door of my house and opened the door with my key. He followed after me clumsily looking as if he was tipsy. I just had to not laugh.

"Hey guys." I greeted them.

"Hey." Nathan and Ash greeted back.

"I'm going to head to bed." I told him with Devon following me.

"Devon, go to sleep." I commanded him as I opened his bedroom door for him.

"So much for not sleeping for twenty-four hours." He rolled his eyes.

We entered his room and I fixed his cover so he could just slide in.

"Take off your shoes." I told him. He did it quickly and jumped on his bed tiredly.

I took his cold covers and covered him up with it, while he tried to make himself comfortable as possible. He smiled at me, satisfied.

I ruffled his hair playfully. He grinned tiredly at me. "Good Night." I greeted him goodbye as I walked off his room.

I walked back down stairs again. I saw the guys watching tv.

I kissed Nathan on the cheek. "I'm going to head to bed, okay?" I told him.

"Okay, sleep well, sister. Love ya." He told me, his eyes never leaving the tv. I rolled my eyes.

"Night Alsh." I told him as I bend down to kiss his cheek too.
