"Friend, huh? I want to meet that friend of yours." Sabi nya at saka tuluyang bumangon at dumiretso sa CR.

Tumunog ang phone ko at nakita ko ang message ni Primo. Binuksan ko 'yon at saglit akong pumikit bago mahinang natawa. This guy, really..

Primo:

You're alive. How I wish I witnessed you being drunk. I just realized that you talk a lot more than the usual when you're drunk. And it's cute.

Pareho kaming nag ayos ni Carrie at sabay nadin kaming bumaba para mag breakfast. Papa just texted me saying he'll be out today. Good thing Carrie is here. At least may kasama ako. I'm also thinking about planning my birthday. It's less than three weeks away from now and I still don't have any plans yet.

"I don't want any big celebration. What's special about being twenty four?"

Kumakain kami ni Carrie at nagsimula nading pag usapan ang mangyayari sa birthday ko. I don't usually plan for it. I used to celebrate it by going out alone. Kung may ganap man ay kakain lang kami sa labas ng pamilya ko. I don't know what's with this year but I want to have at least a simple celebration.

"It's your birthday and that what's make it special." Sabi ni Carrie. She took my iPad and I saw her look for an event organizer. Hinayaan ko sya at dinampot ko ang phone ko. There's a message from Primo. Binasa ko 'yon at agad nading nagreply.

Primo:

Are you eating? Make sure you drink water a lot.

Ako:

I will. Are you with your friends already?

Lumilipas ang mga araw at mas napapalapit ako kay Primo. Tuluyan akong nasanay sa kanya at habang tumatagal ay mas lalo pang nagiging malinaw sa akin ang nararamdaman ko. I don't know what's really going on with us and I feel like it's too early to ask. Does he feel the same way? I don't know. Something is telling me that maybe he's just too nice to treat me like this. Like I shouldn't give meaning to this because it's normal for him.

"I know someone who organizes small events. Should I talk to them?" Tiningnan ako ni Carrie habang hawak nya padin ang iPad ko. "We can celebrate it here if you don't really want any big celebration. Ikaw talaga.." At umiling pa sya.

I don't really want to plan much but I'm thankful that Carrie is here to help me out. I'm not really good with planning and stuff. I think I should talk to my cousins as well. Nung nakaraan pa sila nagtatanong kung ano bang gusto kong mangyari sa birthday ko.

Nang matapos kaming kumain ni Carrie at pareho kaming bumalik sa kwarto ko. I asked her to stay the whole day. We're done planning for my birthday and I've talked to my cousins about it already. Carrie talked to her friend who's going to handle the preparation. It's just a simple one here in our house and I'm just gonna invited my friends and family members.

"By the way, I'm having a small party at my house next week. It's like a welcome party or whatsoever since dito na ulit ako titira. Will you come?"
