"Ti amo." his voice was barey above a whisper as placed a soft kiss on my forehead.

I don't know how long it took me to get myself back up on my feet. My body aches so fucking much. I practically dragged myself to climb back upstairs to my room, and locked to door.
It's almost been a day back with them and I wanna kill myself.
I haven't even eaten breakfast because Axel was furious that I came back.
You deserve this.
That's what Axel said right before I lost consciousness. The words have been on mind since this morning. I don't want to believe him but I do.
I take my phone from under the mattress and start scrolling mindlessly on social media, trying to distract myself from pain coursing through my body.
Hours pass by, my eyes get tired, my stomach grumbled.
I wanted to eat something—anything. But I was scared.
What if they come back right as I was eating? If they did worse-case scenario would be me lying dead in the kitchen.
I shake my head trying not to think of that.
I'm hungry and I need to eat. They surely wouldn't notice some bread missing right?

It took me fifteen minutes but I finally managed to get downstairs.
I made myself some PB&J and let me tell you, it was amazing.
I was sitting on the couch when my phone pinged with a notification.
Dante: can I call you?
My cheeks flushed, my heart fluttered. A small, sheepish smile tugged on my lips as I texted back.
Me: Of course you can
As soon as I sent the message , my phone stared ringing. I bit my lip, a sudden wave nervousness washing over me.
I swallowed a lump in my throat before picking up the call. "Hello?"
"Angioletta," His voice came out as if it was a sigh of relief. "How are you?"
I'm not fine.
"Just peachy." I said. " Was there a reason you called?"
"Oh, you know," he trailed off. "Just checking up on you."
I deadpan. "I was with you less than twenty four hours ago."
