(3rd POV)"What are you?" Wei Yenwu questioned as he stared at the (not)child on the other side of the table.
Sitting there holding a holo-pad with meticulous control as the child's words are translated to a cohesive speech.
"A good question, I am the mind, I am the thought, I am the consciousness, I am the sentience, I am simply am." The translator spoke for the (not)child.
"I see..." Many things were running into Wei mind as he comprehended what it meant.
Though it could be deceiving him but it was unlike given the sheer evidence it showcased him.
It was too much obvious and he would be a fool or an idiot to not accept what lay before him.
"Exactly what are your intentions to my niece?" He questioned with narrowed eyes.
"None. A curiosity. A promise repaid. Neglection obvious. Thou are at fault." It carefully replied.
Each one a different sentence that were mixed together to look cohesive.
"Hmm... touche, you are not wrong on that one." Wei acknowledged much his lackingness to his nieces.
He suppose it was that what lead to their near kidnapping which would've been bad really.
He could think only a few enemies that would even try to kidnap his niece as a sort of bargaining chip against him.
"Enemy is dead, all traces of his own action soon to make public, a scandal of the century soon to be unveiled." It said.
"You did not have to do that for me you make me owe you a favor more than I would like." Wei muttered as he smoke from his pipe.
"I care not of favor, I merely acted in accordance to what was necessary at the time." It flatly answered or as one as close could be with how robotic the speeches were.
"You make yourself a difficult person to negotiate." The (not)child smiled with a certain calmness.
He couldn't figured it what it was but he was sure that it was familiar to him but that doesnt really matter right now.
"I hold no interest in any bargain or trade you offer, materials are meaningless to me as sands blown by wind." He grimaced at the being's words.
"Then what are your intentions?" Wei has hardly been put in a situation that he couldn't resolve.
This apparently is one of them since it's a first for him to face something that's so out of this world and it's quite literal.
"None, I shall simply give a conclusion to our meeting, I have entertained her long enough, it's time I leave." Was the being's straight answer.
"Wait." It called carefully as to not try to provoke something that's clearly beyond his ability to deal with.
Plus its word indicate what its nature is, related to anything to one's mentality or so he was made to believe.
Whether that's true or not will remain a mystery he won't find int until he gets an answer.
"If you really wished to just give an end to your meeting with my niece... why go all through effort of not hiding what you are from me?" Wei questioned.
