Chapter 15- returning to the castle

Lucy POV

After two weeks we finally cleared all the miasma and restored the land to how it was. Now we were spending our last night enjoying our selves until we departed tomorrow to head back to the castle.

"How are you doing princess? We are departing back to the castle tomorrow". Virgo says bringing me my nightly tea and cookies.

"So gladdddd! I can't wait to be back sleeping in an actual bed and a nice warm bath!" I exclaim.
Being out here hasn't been so bad... minus the bugs, the heat and cold, no proper shower, and the most uncomfortable bed ever.

"We still won't be back at the castle for another week and a half, so keep that in mind your highness". Kyro says entering from the tent door.

"Haha why do you have to remind meeee sir Kyro". I say plopping onto my rock hard bed. "I just want to be back at the castleeee... Though in some ways it was actually sort of nice being out here in the wilderness. Sort of peaceful and nostalgic. Fighting monsters and being with people, I liked it".

"Nostalgic? Your highness hasn't really ever been out of the castle before though. So ho-"

"I think it's time for the princess to freshen up and get ready for bed". Virgo interrupts Kyro.

"Oh yes you are right. I am getting sleepy and I smellll. Sorry Sir Kyro". I say getting up.

"Not at all highness, I shall take my leave then". He says turning around.
"Oh but there was something I needed to tell you. A couple knights and I will be departing before dawn tomorrow". He says. "We need to get back to his majesty and tell him the news so he can prepare for your return".

"My return huh. Okay, have a safe journey back". I say. Kyro bows then leaves.
I'm guessing he means the welcome back parade to celebrate everyone coming back safely and the clear of the east.

"Come on your princess, let's get you ready. We have a long journey home". Virgo says.

-a few days later-

It's hot.

Why is it so hot? 

Wait, am I in that dream again.

Burning flames.

It hurts.

I open my eyes to see flames all around me. I'm in that big room with miles of flames surrounding every inch.

"Hello?!" I yell. "Can anyone hear me?! Please!" I'm terrified. Why do I keep having this dream.

The flames bursts and I block my face. The same thing that happened before... I look around, more closely.

Pink... through the hard thick flames, there's pink.

"Hello?! Can you hear me?!" Just as before I hear no response. I can't tell if it's even a person. But it has to be something.
I walk closer to the pink blob. Though a human shape like figure it could very well be something else entirely.
Suddenly the figure turns around. It's hard to tell but it looks like a man.

"Hello! Can you hear me?!" I yell once more. The figure just stands there, still. Their head is down. Almost like they're in pain? 

"Ss..."

Virgo?

"W....p.... Ess"

It's is. Virgo!

"Wake up princess!"

I open my eyes. Just like the first time I see Virgo leaning over me.

"You okay princess? You wouldn't wake up". She says a worried expression on her face.
