"Ti amo." his voice was barey above a whisper as placed a soft kiss on my forehead.
Dante held me in his arms, his fingers brushing through my hair.
My heart fluttered. "I love you m...

I walked into my house as quietly as possible.
Dante had just dropped me at my house.
I felt reluctant too leave him but I knew I could stay with with him. In a few moths I'll turn eighteen and I can leave this shit hole for good but right now I had to stay.
The floor beneath me creaked slightly, I winced, I was so close to the stairs
"You think you can just walk into this house after being gone for so long" The familiar voice called out.
I froze, my blood running cold.
I turned. Lucia was sitting the couch a bottle of beer in her hand.
I swallowed, my heart pounding in my chest.
"Judging by the car you came in," She slurred, as she looked me dead in the eyes. "You've been whoring around."
My mouth dried, fear coursing through my body. "I—"
A small laugh escaped her as she stood up with a grunt, the bottle still in her hand. She walked to me with slow deliberate steps.
My fingers tightened around the strap of the bag which Dante gave me.
She was right in front of me, she was so close I could smell the beer, I could see the her red, glassy eyes.
A scowl formed on her face. "What you got nothing to say now, " She spat.
"After you told Axel about James." She yelled.
I flinched, my knuckles turning white as I gripped the bag on for dear life.
"I—I didn't tell—" My voice cracked.
"What—he found out on his own? You were the only person who knew." Her voice became calm—too calm.
"I'm s—sorry Lucia."
Pain spread through my scalp when she yanked my hair to the side, the force making me fall down, hard.
My stomach churned with anxiety.
"Pathetic." She scoffed.
She waved her hand dismissively. "Go back to your room. Axel will come tomorrow you'll get your punishment then. I can't deal with your worthless shit right now."
My eyes welled with tears but I didn't let them fall. I slowly got my, my eyes trained on the floor as I went upstairs.
I shakily breathed in as I turned the doorknob to my room. My room looked the same like that day I had left it. A small rush of relief washed over me when I realzed that no one ahd checked in here, meaning—my old phone was still hidden.
Shutting the door behind me, I lock it and finally—fInally I let myself break.
Silent tears pour out of me as I realized I'll never be able to get rid of them. Even if I leave, memories would haunt me.
