Dhimahi's POV-
I don't know how to feel. Whether to be happy and relieved that Trinetra is alive and my brother is innocent… or to be angry, shattered, and betrayed because Trayambak used me. He punished not just me—but my brother too—for something we never did. And now, despite this overwhelming truth, my mind feels paralyzed.
Somebody tried to murder Trinetra.
But why?
And who?Everything inside me is screaming for answers, but right now… my heart refuses to let go of one thing: Trayambak.
I should stop caring.
I should leave him.
But love doesn’t work like that, does it?
You don’t just flip a switch and walk away.I know I’ll leave eventually—but not today. It’s too hard, too raw.
He’s at Maya’s place now, breaking things like a man possessed. I rush forward, grab his wrist.
"Trayambak yeh kya kar rahe hai aap? Ghar chaliye."
["Trayambak, what are you doing? Let’s go home."]He pulls away. I clasp his hand again.
"Kitni chot lagi hai aapko, aap ghar chalein. You have a bigger purpose. Don't fall apart like this."
["You’re so hurt. Let’s go home. You have a bigger purpose—don’t fall apart like this."]Suddenly, he pulls me into a tight embrace, his face buried in the crook of my neck. I gently stroke his nape, trying to soothe the chaos within him.
He calmed down a bit.
Soon we left Maya’s place and return to our penthouse. In silence.
Once in the bedroom, we sit at the edge of the bed—silent, hollow. Then, he takes my hands in his. His eyes search mine, and after a long pause, he whispers:
"Dhimahi, I’m sorry. I know my sorry won’t change anything, but I truly am. I don’t want to justify my actions… I was blinded by fury. By vengeance."
Tears begin to slip down my cheeks.
"Apologising wouldn’t change anything, Trayambak. Now that you know my brother isn’t the culprit… you don’t need me anymore. I’m not your pawn anymore."
I take a deep breath, steady my voice.
"I want a divorce, Trayambak."
His fingers, once playing nervously with mine, freeze. He stares at me—stunned. For the first time, I see fear in his eyes.
"Kya bol rahi ho Dhimahi? I… I know what I said broke you but trust me baby, I didn’t mean it."
["What are you saying, Dhimahi? I… I know what I said hurt you, but trust me baby, I didn’t mean it."]His voice is cracking.
"My intentions were never pure. But… I fell in love with you. That’s the truth. You are my truth. Whether Dhanay was guilty or not… I would have still married you. You’re my destiny. I love you, Dhimahi. And I know you love me too. You’re just… broken."
I yank my hands away from him.
"Trayambak, don’t lie out of guilt. You’re lying because you’re ashamed, not because you love me. You never loved me—you loved the idea that I loved you."
Tears pour from my eyes now.
"No baby, you’re wrong!" he raises his voice.
"If you think I don’t love you, then you’re wrong."
I shout back, choking on every word.
"But your actions don’t define love, Trayambak! You were so consumed by vengeance that based on mere doubt, you punished me. I was innocent. You used me! You crushed my soul!"
