Aurora is a girl who has an extremely rare disease. Her rare condition is called Erythropoietic Protoporphyria. A.k.a. EPP.
All her life she has been trapped in darkness. Never allowed to go outside in the sun, never allowed to hang out before 6:30pm.
Well, it turns out luck is on her side. Her mother is transferred to Seattle, Washington, USA.
She always kept her condition a secret. No one but her mum and the doctors know about it.
One day, her secret slips and a girl - Scientist - finds out. They become close friends and the girl tries to help Aurora out.
Aurora meets Lucas and Mason along the way. The four become very close friends.
How does Aurora's life progress after the months in Seattle? Will Aurora ever be able to see the sunlight?
