Demons

"The battery is still good to use. We should go now." Bellamy tells me softly. "I know. I'm just scared of what you might be going back to." I admit and he nods. "I get it. But there's no reason to be afraid. I won't be alone." He reminds me and I nod. "I know. Doesn't stop me from worrying about you." I say softly. "Anytime. I'm not your big brother for nothing." He smiles at me.

I smile and turn as we all head for the truck. "Alright, remember. You're getting in, and getting out." I tell them and they nod. Bell, Nate, Jasper, Sinclair, Raven, Maya, Octavia, and Lincoln were going back. They would do a quick in and out trip, then get back here. "Just... do it as quick as you can. Radio if you run into trouble or the chipped." I tell them and they all nod.

"We got this Arty." Octavia assures me. "I know you do, but it's my job to worry." I smirk at her. "I'll keep them safe." Lincoln tells me with a smirk. The group leaves and I head back inside. "We need to finish this plan. And fast. There's no way to know where the chipped group is." I tell Murphy and the others. They all nod as we head up to the room again.

"Monty. What can you tell me about the chip?" I ask him and he shakes his head. "There's not a lot for me to say. Unless I can see it from inside, I got nothing." He tells me. "Alright. I'm going to go touch base with Lexa. I'll be back in a bit." I tell them. "Murphy can you help me with this?" Harper calls. "I'll be fine. I'm not leaving the building." I tell him and he nods.

I kiss his cheek and leave the room. I head for the main room she's usually in. "Heda. Might we talk?" I ask seeing people with her. "Leave us." She tells them and they nod leaving the room. Once the doors shut I turn to her. "I have a stupid idea. And I need some sort of support and trust." I tell her and she nods.

"Depends on what it is." She tells me. "There has to be some way to kill off her power. And the only thing I can think of... is shutting it down from the inside." I tell her. "That is a stupid idea." She mutters. "Sorella, we need to control this before it gets more out of hand. Having someone on the inside is my best idea. We need Raven out here." I tell her and she groans.

"You just had to call me Sorella." She mutters and I smile. There's a knock and she calls for them to enter. Murphy walks in giving me a deadpan look. "Damn it.." I mumble. "I figured out you wanted me busy when Harper was wanting to rearrange the room." He says crossing his arms. "I didn't want you talking me out of my idea." I tell him softly.

"What idea?" He asks walking over to me. "I'm thinking about what Maya said. That the only way to stop ALIE... is by joining." I tell him. "So you're insane." He tells me and I sigh. "This is why. Murphy, I can't let anyone else join, or die for not joining. If they think the great Wanheda is on their side? I could be able to find a way in. Shut it down." I tell him.

"You don't even have one of those chips." He points out. "I actually do. Sinclair had one... he gave it to me to look at." I explain and he frowns. "Goddess you can't be serious." He says with a frown. "Murphy, please. We need to end this. For all I know Marcus, Abby, and everyone else could be suffering." I say and he looks torn.

"How long would you be... there?" He asks, seeming pained to even say it. "As long as it takes. If Arkadia is gone, the next place they'd come is here. If they think they have someone inside already. I just... I need to something. I feel like I'm not doing anything." I rant slightly. "Goddess, hey you're doing a lot already." Murphy soothes me.

"Can you just... trust me? When I say I know what I'm doing?" I ask both of them. I see them sharing unsure looks, but wait patiently. "This is... the most insane thing you've ever wanted to do." Murphy tells me. "I know." I nod with a small smile. "What about the others?" Lexa asks me and I sigh. "We don't tell them." I answer simply.

"Don't tell them? They're going to notice." Murphy tells me. "They won't. Murphy I avoid talking about my trauma like it's a plague. No one brings it up. I'm always staying positive no matter what happens." I tell him and he groans. "You've thought this through a bit too much." He tells me and I shrug.

"I made my defense system." I tell them both. "I will support you no matter what. Because I'd rather know now. That not have a clue later." Lexa tells me and I nod giving her a thankful smile. "Alright fine. But the second I think it's going wrong. We're zapping you too." Murphy tells me.

I had filled him in on how we finally got Raven back from ALIE. "And I will let you." I tell him with a chuckle. "Are you absolutely sure?" Murphy asks me. "Of course." I nod at him and he sighs. "Alright..." He caves, nodding his head. "When would you do this?" He asks me, crossing his arms, clearly not happy about it.

"Now." I say as I pull the chip out of my pocket. I turn to him, giving him a deep kiss. "I love you. Just remember I'll come back to you. Always." I tell him and he nods. "I love you too Goddess." He says kissing my head. "Good luck Sorella." Lexa tells me and I turn nodding at her with a smile.

I look down at the small chip in my hand. I stick it into my mouth, waiting. My eyes flutter shut and I gasp as they open. I look around me amazed, a beautiful city standing around me. "Holy shit... this is insane." I mutter looking around. "Artemis." I hear and whip around. Jaha stands there, a woman in a red dress next to him.

"You've decided to join us... why?" He asks me. "Raven told me... about this place after we got her free. Kept telling me about how much she wished she was back here. That there was no pain." I say lying out of my ass. I make myself cry as I speaks again. "I uh... I've uh... I've gone through a lot since we got down here. I just... I don't want to remember it anymore. I haven't had a good nights sleep in weeks." I say.

I let the tears race down my cheeks. "You have been through so much. I can help you forget." The woman speaks. "You must be ALIE then." I say wiping my face. "I am. I can help you, Artemis." She tells me. "Please... I just want the pain to stop." I say and she nods. "Of course." She nods with a smile.
