When I wake up, I'm entangled with Grant. My head is buried in the crook of his neck, and his arm is thrown over my waist. Our legs are just a jumbled mess.

I turn my head to check the time. Only three hours have passed. I start poking at Grant.

"Yo, Grant," I whisper at first before shouting, "wake up!"

Grant falls off the bed, almost taking me down with him. I watch him as he lies on the ground and groans, one arm covering his eyes. He doesn't bother moving, and it seems like he's going to fall asleep again.

"How's it down there?"

"You're a terrible human being."

"I know."

"What do you want, woman?"

"A ride home."

He removes his arm and stares at me with those steely gray eyes, "Why? I thought you were staying. Did I do something? Oh shit, I did something. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me."

"You didn't do anything, Grant," I laugh, "I just didn't want to intrude on your dinner."

"Ven, chill--"

"I slept at your house. I'm not asking for anything more."

"Woman, we're gonna go pick up Lillian. And then you're going to have dinner with us, okay?"

"... Fine."

"Awesome. Let's get up."

"Now...?"

"Five minutes," he smirks before grabbing my arm and pulling me down right onto him, "I could get used to this."

I blush.
