Season 3

Episode 10:
Nevermore

Murphy's POV

I hate Azgeda. With a passion. Arty may have spared that Roan guy, but I hate the rest of them. Especially this Ontari chick. It had been a few days of her dragging me across the damn earth. According to them, we were so close to their camp. I was just ready to be back with Arty and the others. I'm sure by now she had figured out what happened.

I zoned out a lot the past few days. Trying to avoid Ontari's mood swings and.... touching. It made me shudder even thinking about it. God I needed to get back to Arty. I heard yelling and other horses coming closer. I glance up from staring at my hands, and look back down. I then pause, recognizing the main face there.

It was that Roan guy. I look up again, staring straight at him. He was talking to Ontari and some others, before his eyes started scanning through the rest of us. His gaze stops on me, and I hope to whatever god there was, that he recognized me. "Why is he here?" He asks and I can hear the irritation in his voice.

"He's with me." Ontari answers. He turns his glare down to her and I wanna flinch myself. If looks could kill. "He is not with you. That man, is with Wanheda. Why. Is. He. Here." He asks angrily. The others seemed to not know that, looking at me warily now. I smirk, knowing I was in the clear now.

Ontari starts ranting in Trig, and I can barely keep up with what she's saying. I just knew I was clear now. Roan would let me go. "You." He snaps after a few minutes. I look up seeing he was pointing at someone else. "Give him your horse. Now." He says angrily. I stand up as they walk over, shoving the reins at me.

"Go. Send Wanheda my apologies." He tells me and I nod. Don't have to tell me twice dude. "Thank you." I tell him as I mount the horse. Seemed easier to get on the damn horses when I was trying to get the hell away from people. I take off away from them focusing ahead of me. I spent so much time staring at everything when we took a slight turn.

I didn't care about stopping for sleep. At least two days had passed, and I finally saw the tip of the tall building. I tug on the reins, the horse having stopped for water. I stopped a while every little bit to let the horse rest before we had taken off again. I take off on the last stretch, ready to just be back with her.

As I get into Polis there's gasping and people saying my name, and Arty's title. I see someone running towards the building. I get off the horse as I get closer and Keran is the first familiar face I spot. "Keran!" I call and he turns. He comes over quickly, steadying me as I stumble. "Murphy. Where have you been?" He asks me.

"Azgeda. Ontari did it. Roan saw me a few days ago and let me go. Made one of them give me their horse." I tell him. "Has Artemis been told?" He asks, just as the doors open. Arty runs out, her eyes locking on me instantly. "I'd say yes." I smirk, stepping away from him. Arty runs over, launching onto me.

My arms lock around her waist tightly, holding her to my chest. I hear her sniffling and chuckle as my own eyes sting. "I'm here Goddess." I soothe her gently. "I was so scared. When Nate told me you were missing. Bell told me you were attacked." She rants and I pull back grabbing her face. "Hey. Hey. I'm fine. I'm right here. Breath." I tell her wiping her face.

"You look like hell." She says and I chuckle. "I'm already feeling better. Fuck, all I wanted was to be right here with you." I say kissing her forehead. "I'm not letting you out of my sight like... ever again." She tells me and I chuckle. "I'm okay with that." I tell her. "Let's get you inside. Have Clarke check you over." She tells me as we walk in. "Clarke?" I ask confused.

"You've missed a bit. I'll tell you everything once Clarke checks you over." She tells me and I nod my head. She walks me inside, keeping my arm around her shoulder. We head up to our room and I see ALL of the remaining 100 there. "Woah... is this my welcome home party?" I ask and they all turn.

"Holy shit. Where have you been? Arty's been freaking out." Octavia tells me. "Long story." I say as we walk into our room. I slump on the bed, sighing in relief. Clarke comes over, checking all my cuts and bruises. "All things considered, he's good. His cuts aren't infected, the bruises are healing, no breaks. Just in dire need of a shower." She says and I roll my eyes.

"What's going on here?" I ask again. "ALIE." Arty tells me. "Oh, the bitch Clarkes dad mentioned? I almost forgot Jaha mentioned her." I say and she nods. "We found a way to get her out of Ravens head, yes Raven took a chip. Now we're trying to find out how to destroy her. The chip people take, is identical to the chip the commander has in her neck. The one Lexa has, can destroy ALIE." Arty explains further.

"That's insane. Jesus, get kidnapped and see how much you miss." I mutter and Arty punches my arm. "Ow! It was a joke" I grunt and she huffs. "Don't do that. She's been very moody." Nate warns me. "Well yeah, I was gone." I say and she goes to smack me again. I catch her arm, pulling her into my lap.

"Stop hitting me." I mutter as she shifts, curling into my arms. "Everyone clear out and head across the hall. Let him clean up." Bellamy says and I nod at him. As they all leave, Lexa slips in. "Murphy, glad to see you back." She tells me. "Thanks. I'm glad I'm back too." I say squeezing Arty to my chest.

"Who was it? That had you?" She asks me. "You could guess. It was Azgeda. Roan found us right before we got into their camp or whatever. He saw me, got pissed off since he recognized me. Made one of them give me their horse and told me to go. Told me to apologize to Arty on his behalf." I explain.

"Who was it?" She asks again. "Ontari." I tell her. "She's the Natblida that Azgeda hid." Arty tells me. "Of course. Cause why not." I mutter. "Well we're glad you are back. Artemis was quite moody without you." She tells me, sending Arty a smirk. "Everyone needs to quit saying that." She huffs. "I will let you rest. Artemis, the Natblida's are requesting you to train again." She tells her.

"I'll wait for Murphy. They've been waiting to tackle him again." She says grinning up at me. "Oh thanks." I say as I get up. She smiles and leans to kiss my cheek. "I'll be across the hall. Unless you want me to stay." She tells me softly. "Stay." I tell her and she nods. "Go clean up. I'll be here." She tells me sitting in the chair by the balcony. I kiss her head again as I move to clean up a bit.

Normal POV

I sat in the chair, relieved he was back. I wait patiently, listening as he mutters about fresh water, and cleaning off the dirt. I giggle softly hearing him. I wait and soon he's coming out, clean and dressed. "There's the handsome clean face." I smile softly as he pulls me up. "Goddess, I have missed you so much." He mutters softly.

"I've missed you too. So damn much. I was... terrified when they said you were missing. I thought I wouldn't see you again. I tried to stay positive... but I was so scared." I mumble softly. "Hey. I'm right here. And I'm not leaving you. Ever again." He tells me holding my face in his hands.

"You had every right to be scared. But I'm back now." He tells me and I nod. I lean up giving him a quick kiss and he huffs at me. I smile softly, grabbing his hand to head to the Natblida's. We walk in and they were all facing away from us, listening to Lexa as she spoke. I purposely step away from Murphy, giving him a smirk when he gives me a look.

I whistle shortly and they all turn. I watch amused as Rys moves first, charging towards Murphy. He yelps as they all charge and tackle him. I laugh watching him flail. "Alright! Up and off." I call and they groan, but get off of him. Lexa was amused, but hid her amusement quickly. We train for a while before heading back up to the others. Now to find out what to do about ALIE.
