Taming Nicholas

Chapter Twenty-Four

His hands tightened around my waist. I squirmed and tried to get down.

Nicholas laughed and walked inside my house with me still on him. He closed the door behind me.

"Ugh....I hate you."

"Hmm...too bad." He said as he set me down.

I rolled my eyes then told him that my parents were in the living room.

Nick took my hand and together we strolled into the cozy room.

My mom and dad we're there, sitting on the couches, watching tv.

"Hey mom and dad, look who's here..." I said cheerfully.

"Hi Mrs and Mr.Wood." Nicholas said.

For some reason I wanted to laugh...I always felt like this when someone greeted my parents formally.

It sounded like two trees got married.

Umm..right back to the point.

"Hello Mr.Carter." My father greeted Nick.

"Come sit down hun." My mom patted the seat beside her.

"Ok." Nicholas dragged me with him to the couch, sat down and made me sit on his lap.

My dad's lip twitched, he obviously did not approve of the position we were in.

"Melissa why don't you sit down beside me. Eh?"" My dad asked.

"Dad...." I said, "Cant I sit on his lap?"

"Not infront of me you can." My dad muttered.

I sighed and got off Nick's lap and sat down on the floor. I crossed my legs and sulked.

"I thought you liked him." I played wih a candle on the coffee table.

"I do..." My father replied, his brown eye twinkled with amusement.

"Hmmm..." My mother said.

"Dont I Arlene?" My father asked my mother.

"If you say so Tyler..." Arlene replied.

'So Nick what are you doing here?" Tyler fiddled with the television's remote.

"Well Melissa was mad at me at school. And she said that she wasnt but I don't believe her...So I came here to see is she's really not...secretly planning to break up with me. Or something.."

I giggled and accidental let go off the candle. It fell and broke into a million pieces. Oops...

"Melissa....." Arlene sighed, "I'll clean it up"

"Sorry mom." I whispered. My mom got up to get the broom.

"Right so why was she mad?" My dad asked my boyfriend.

"I wouldn't agree to carry to bring her somewhere...but now I've changed my mind."

"Really?" I asked.

"Yea...You did say just one minute."

"Yay!" I said happily. My mom came back in with the broom and swept up the poor candle pieces. Then she left again.

"What is this place?" Tyler asked.

"Umm...its a place for animals." I said the fist think that popped into my head.

"Oh a zoo." My dad said.

"Yea....that's it.." Nicholas replied giving me a look.

"I'm slightly confused now." My dad said with a frown.

"Don't worry dad...Everything will be fine."

"Ok...."My father said still looking confused but he smiled.

"Great so I can go?"

"Yes of course." 

"Ohh I gotta get something firstand then I have to change" I muttered, jumping up.

"Why you look fine." My father asked.

I was in skinny jeans and a simple blue tee. Not exactly a "I'm going to bad neighbourhood dressed as a boy" kinda attire.

"Well I have to freshen up. I'll be right back."

"Alright...hurry up."  Nick replied.

"This should be interesting" I thought as I walked up the stairs to my room.

Hey guys...Updated twice this week. Its a miracle....So this chapter was supposed to include some stuff from the upcoming chapter but I spilt them up.

It was pretty long. Sorry for the boring chapter. It was mostly a filler or some shit like that.But whatevs. Next chapter shall come soon.

This chapter is dedicated to be-you-tiful160. She commented alot. And we had a pretty long conversation in the comments on the last chapter. Hehe it was really long but it was fun talking to someone who seems to enjoy my book so much.

Next chapter should be more exciting if you know what I mean ;) NO! They're not gonna have sex you dirty minded people but if you didnt think about sex then....either something wrong with you...or your just innocent..Which is good!

Um..so I decide to change the number of chapters....AGAIN...I really cant seem to make up my mind....*sighs* So it is officially...I dont know..That right people...I dont know....
