Season 3

Episode 9:
Stealing Fire

After training with the Natblidas, I head into the square for a little bit. I always did when I was here, I wasn't changing my tiny tradition now. I talk with people for a bit as I wander, before heading inside. I head down the halls and up to the room. "Hey. How's it all going?" I ask as I shut the doors. "She's up." Nate tells me and I see Raven shifting and she starts talking angrily.

"Great." I mutter softly. "I need to see if I can get through to Raven. Don't say a word about where we are. Or what we're doing." I tell everyone. "If anything. We can leave you in here with them working. Go to your room so she doesn't hear anything she shouldn't." Harper tells me. "We could. Just leave both doors slightly open." I tell them and they nod walking out. Nate stays just inside the door and I chuckle at him. I pull the bag off her head, leaving the blindfold and she groans.

"Still nothing. How sweet." She mutters to herself. I pull the headphones off of her next and sigh. "Raven. I know you're still in there. Fight her. I need you to talk to me." I say firmly. She starts snickering and I sigh. "Or let the annoying bitch win." I mutter. "Says the one all alone. Boy toys missing right?" She fires back. I glare at the side of her head at that. "Compared to you being stuck to a bed. I'm perfectly fine." I shrug.

I couldn't take any of this to heart. This isn't Raven. "Your little boyfriend probably ran. Tired of the scars and baggage you carry around with you. I don't even have to see your face to know about that scar. How he could say he loves you, I don't know." She snarks at me. I raise a brow, letting the bitch rant. Nate watches me cautiously as she rants at me.

"Or no. I bet you think he was kidnapped. Because no one could ever just leave you right? That totally makes sense. Not like your mom leaving you. Eventually you'll have no one. Being proclaimed the great Wanheda. Being the commander of death brings you a lonely life. It's only a matter of time until everyone you love and care about is gone." She says and I roll my eyes getting up. "We should have gagged her too." I chime walking out.

I hear running behind me before Bellamy gets in front of me, stopping me. "Hey. You know none of that is true right? We're never leaving you. Especially not Murphy. We're gonna find him, and he's gonna cling to you. I'm already nauseous thinking about it." He says with a grimace. "I know I shouldn't take any of it to heart. But what if she's right? Alie, I mean. I mean... why would Murphy stay with me? I'm covered in scars now. Plenty of baggage from my trauma." I shrug at him.

"Hey. Don't do that. Your scars make you look more badass than you already are. And everyone has baggage. Murphy understands your trauma more than others. It's why he's a good match for you. And don't tell him I said this. But I actually kinda like him for you. He makes you smile more than I ever saw on the Ark. And he gets you to relax. Whenever he's around, you're a good kind of different." He smiles at me.

"Murphy is so dedicated to you, it's sickening." He jokes lightly. I smile softly and look up at him. "Really?" I ask softly. "Of course Arty. You have no reason, to have any doubt in your head about Murphy. That cockroach would never willingly leave you." He chuckles at me. "Thank you... I needed to hear that." I tell him and he nods. "I know you did. Now, how about you show me these amazing training grounds. Show me what the mighty Wanheda is capable of?" He teases.
