sadly, i'm not patient. and i'm waiting on something that will never happen. our love wasn't protected; it didn't preserve, and now i have no hope. but the knowledge, the knowledge didn't play a part in this. it's the fact that your knowledge failed you. because otherwise you'd remember our love. but unfortunately for me, it let you down, leaving me to let you go.
