After two weeks of registering on the tutor platform, Inaya had received a notification on her phone from the app. She had received a request for home-tutoring a student and the person who had reached out to her, the student's mother, was willing to pay a hefty amount.

Inaya blinked at the money being offered to her. She opened the accounts she maintained on her phone and calculated the gain in her income.

She could comfortably spend some money on buying more clothes, if this was the fee she was receiving every month. She had hit jackpot! She flashed a quick smile at the woman in the neighboring cubicle, "Jaya ma'am, you were right about this tutoring gig! It does give a good amount of additional money."

Jaya turned to her, "Did you find a student, already? Show me the profile!"

Jaya inspected the profile of the parent and the linked student. Then, she took a look at the message the parent had sent.

"That's the fee per class?!" Jaya exclaimed in glee. "The most I received as fee is still less than this. Inaya, you've hit the lottery!"

Inaya nodded back, grinning.

"You better quickly accept the deal."

"I will."

After a few hours of attending to the clients of the bank and texting the parent simultaneously, she finally received a contact number from the student's parent. Inaya saved the number and texted her on there, instead, during her lunch break.

Vani's Mother

Hello, ma'am!

Hey Inaya!
Have you decided on the demo class?

Yes, I can do it

If Vani finds the demo class satisfactory, we will take up classes thrice in a week.

Sure
What grade is Vani in?

Currently, she's in 11th.
She's just finished her first internal exam.

Okay

When will you be available to come over for a demo class?

I can come at 7 tonight

Okay
Here's our address

"It's legitimate, right?" Jaya asked after Inaya joined her for lunch.

"Yes, I checked the profile and it looks legitimate enough. It looks like the student is also taking music classes and I saw the teacher comment on some of the posts."

"Then, it must be a real profile. I've heard cases of shady profiles and the scams some of my peers have fallen for."

"I'll be careful." Inaya nodded.

After checking out of work at 6, Inaya caught a bus to Paniyat Street Cross. She had only been there about a week back to meet Arjun and the gang. Now, she was returning to the area for tutoring. It would soon become a weekly journey to the area, if she was going to be the girl's tutor in accountancy and related subjects.
