Bitter Harvest

The days had been long. Some people had caved, taking the crap Jaha preached about. Then they acted like happy-go-lucky robots. To put it nicely. But we finally figured out what's wrong with it. The other night I had went to check on Raven. She's had so much on her plate, I wanted to make sure she was okay. She didn't really talk much about Finn after he died, so I wanted to see if she wanted to talk. 

I walk into the usual area Raven is working in. "Hey Pyro." I smile and she looks over sending me a smile back. "Hey Arty. What's up?" She asks going back to what she was doing. "Just wanted to check in. It's been hectic lately. We haven't gotten to talk much so I wanted to check on you." I tell her softly. "I'm alright. Trying to figure out some of this city of light stuff." She tells me.

"Raven.. hey." I say softly as I grab her arm lightly. She looks over at me and I give her a smile. "You know if you ever need to talk, you can come to me right?" I ask her softly. "Talk about what?" She snorts turning back to the things in front of her. "Oh I don't know. Getting cut by grounders, Finn dying, Literally any trauma from being down here." I say and she pauses.

Her face screws up in confusion and I pause. "Raven... look at me." I tell her and she pauses again before turning to me. "Do you remember that? Finn dying? Because I do. I remember your screams. And even when the grounders cut you up, accusing you of hurting Lexa." I say and she stares at me, seeming lost. "Raven... you didn't." I say softly.

"Didn't what? Alleviate my pain?" She says with a straight face. "Raven. We talked about this. We all agreed not to take it! Not until we knew what it was." I tell her. "Arty. Taking this thing was the best choice. There's no pain in the City of Light." She says with a smile. "I'll figure this out Pyro. You'll be yourself again soon. Because the Raven I know, wouldn't take the fucking easy way out." I say turning and rushing out of the room.

"Guys!" I yell getting to the others. "Arty? What's going on?" Miller asks. "We have a serious problem." I tell them as they all gather. "What is it?" Murphy asks joining my side. "I know what the chip does. I just witnessed it." I tell them. "You what?" Bellamy asks me. "Not like I took it. Raven took it. She... it makes you forget anything that caused you pain. She doesn't remember Finn, or when the grounders cut her up." I say as my eyes fill with tears.

"She what? Raven wouldn't. She's one of your biggest supporters." Clarke argues. "Exactly my point. Which leads me to believe someone pushed her to do it. I just don't know who, besides Jaha." I tell them. "We need to figure out stopping this thing. Before something happens." Nate says and I nod. "Any ideas would be great." I tell them.

So now, we're scrambling to figure shit out. Especially without Raven since she was our best mechanic. "Another problem. Jackson took the chip too. So there goes one of our medics." Jasper tells me. "Shit." I mutter softly. I pull the radio off my belt. "Sorella. We have some problems coming up here. About ALIE." I say waiting patiently. "What language is that?" Maya asks and I chuckle.
