Season 3

Episode 4:
Watch The Thrones

After killing Nia, and Roan officially becoming the king of Azgeda, I was packed to leave. "No doubt, Pike is trying to rally support for what happened at the Mountain." I mutter. "Be safe. Tell me once you've made it." Lexa tells me quietly. "I'll be just fine, Sorella. But I will." I chuckle climbing onto my horse. Keran, Murphy, and Mira wait on their own. "Don't do anything stupid." She tells me and I scoff. "I resent that." I say before taking off out of Polis.

It's quiet and tense ride heading back to camp. I see the grounders Lexa told me she sent, camped out a ways from the camp. But still close if we needed them. It was dark, and as I got closer, the gates opened. I see a group of people heading for the gate. I see the back of Lincoln's head, two girls flanking him. I eye the group curiously.

I see my brother talking to them, the two girls moving to the side. "You too, Lincoln." I catch. "And what about me? Are you going to push me aside as well?" I say drawing attention to us. "Artemis. Thank god." Harper mutters. "Stand down!" I yell at the ones pointing weapons at Keran and Mira. They lower their weapons, and Pike looks put off. "What the hell is going on here?" I ask my brother. "That army out there could hit us in our sleep." He tells me. "That army, was sent here on my orders. Azgeda murdered 49 of our people. Trikru is protecting us." I tell him.

"We need to hit them, before they hit us." He argues. "Lincoln stand aside." I say getting off my horse. The man steps aside as I walk over to them. "Azgeda is under different rule. Nothing that happened, will happen again. I can assure you of that." I tell him. "How can we be sure it's different? Or that it changed rulers?" He asks me. "Because I just killed their last ruler." I snap at him. He pauses, shocked at my words. "Nia is dead?" Octavia asks walking closer with Lincoln.

"She challenged Heda. Chose her son as her warrior, so Heda chose me as hers. We both had the same idea. Blood must have blood. But her son wasn't the one who spilt our peoples blood. She was. So I killed her." I tell everyone. There were murmurs around us, shock, but a lot of relief. "If you touch, even one person, in that army. In any sort of way. Your name will make A LOT more sense. Seeing as your head will be ON a pike. Am I clear on that?" I say walking up to Pike with a glare.

He stares me down, not speaking. "I said. Am. I. Clear." I say enunciating each word. "Crystal." He says turning and walking away. "Bellamy, get your ass over here." I say seeing him trying to walk away. He pauses and slowly turns around. I turn to Octavia curiously. "Why is he acting like this? First he's agreeing with our alliance, now he hates them." I ask her confused. "One of the people who died. He was dating her." She tells me and I frown. "Bell, why didn't you tell me?" I ask him and he looks down.

"Come on. Let's go talk while the horses are put in their stalls." I say linking my arm in his tugging him with me towards a spot by the fence we could sit. I sit down and he drops next to me. "You could have told me. I may not be here constantly, but I'm still your sister." I tell him softly. "You've been busy. Clearly. I didn't want to bother you about this stuff." He shrugs at me. "Bell. I may be younger than you, but you can still talk to me about shit. You don't have to protect me from emotions. We all have them." I tell him.

"I just... I had just talked to her the day before. She brought me a book from the Mountain. The Iliad." He says with a small smile. "You love that book. I bet you were happy to see it again." I say with my own smile. "I was. I remember reading you and O stories. Like mom used to read them to me." He says softly. "I loved hearing them. You always put so much effort into the voices. Making them all different. In a way, you made them come to life." I say leaning my head on his shoulder.

"I miss her. It's only been a day... but I miss her." He says sniffling. "It's okay to miss her. Just don't let your grief blind you. They really are there to protect us. If they wanted to attack, they wouldn't have set up camp." I point out. "I know. I see that now. I was just... I was angry, sad, all of it. Sometimes, it's hard to remember there are good guys out there." He says softly. "Really though, they are here under my orders. Lexa's gonna be so annoyed when she see's 300 of her warriors aren't there." I say and he laughs.

"Shit. I need to check in with her." I chuckle grabbing the radio from my belt loop. "Sorella, I made it back to camp. I made Pike mad." I say into the radio with a chuckle. "Why am I missing warriors?" She replies and I laugh. "She noticed they're gone. Didn't she?" Bellamy asks with a grin and I nod. "I may or may not have borrow some of them. And I may or may not have bribed Indra to lead them." I say trying to sound innocent.

"Of course. Sometimes I think she listens to you more than she does to me. Be safe. Check in tomorrow. I may need you back soon. Explain tomorrow." She says and I groan. "I hate when she tells me something and then says she'll explain later." I mutter. "You do that to us all the time." Bellamy points out with a laugh. "I know. Oh! There's something I wanted to show you. But you can't tell a soul. And I literally mean, no one." I tell him and he nods.

I go through explaining the story from what happened with the missile, and what me and Lexa had talked about. I look around to make sure no one was around, pulling out my knife. I cut my palm and Bellamy stares shocked at my blood. "So there's that." I say softly. "Woah. So, you have the blood of the commanders?" He asks quietly. "I do." I nod my head as I clean my hand. "Who else knows?" He asks curiously. "Keran, Mira, Murphy, Marcus, and now you. And Lexa of course." I say and he nods.

"I'm going to tell Tavi tomorrow. And Lincoln. Aside from that, no one else can know yet. Lexa said I'd know when it's time to share it with everyone." I say and he nods. "I have a question." He tells me. "What's up?" I ask curiously. "Lincoln said his tattoos... that they're his kill count. Getting one for each life he's taken." He says and I hum. "Is there a question in there?" I ask amused. "Do you have tattoos for yours? He said all grounders do it." He explains and I see he's genuinely curious. "I do actually. I've worn long sleeves all the time since I got them." I tell him and he nods.

"Can I see them?" He asks and I laugh. "Maybe tomorrow. Some twist around my ribs onto my stomach, the others are on my arm. My arms are tiny so I work with where I can fit them. Which reminds me I need another one for Nia." I mutter. "So you really did it?" He asks and I nod. "Me and Roan did beat the shit out of each other though." I say laughing. "I was wondering where the bruises came from." He chuckles. "Come on. Let's get some rest. I'll show you my tattoos tomorrow." I tell him and he nods getting up. He helps me up and we walk over to where the others were in the camp.

"Aww you guys left our tent alone still?" I tease. "Hey! Welcome back. Heard you have some fun stories for us?" Miller asks with a smirk and I laugh. "You know I do." I say sitting with Murphy who wraps me in his arms. I sit talking with everyone and tell a few stories of the past few days. After a bit, we all split for sleep. "Keran. Would you mind keeping watch on the army? I don't trust Pike not to try something. Wake me if they do." I tell him quietly. "Of course. Rest. I will wake you if needed." He tells me and quickly disappears.
