ALMERA'S POV
“Are you hinding something from me?” napalunok ako at nilakasan ang loob kong itulak ito.
Hindi naman ganon kalakas ang pagtulak ko sa kan'ya pero lumayo ito sa'kin, pinagbigyan ako.
“I-I’m not hiding anything from you,” I countered, meeting her cold gaze. “Bakit? May dapat ba akong itago?” tanong ko, raising an eyebrow.
He smirked.
“Bakit? May dapat ba akong Malaman?” laban nito sa'kin.
“Wala, kasi wala akong tinatago” umayos ako ng upo “Ano ba ang ipinupunto?” kunwaring na iinis kong tanong.
Paano kong alam n’ya na ang sakit ko? But he chose to be silent because he wanted me to be the one to say it?
Hindi..
Hindi ako pwedeng mag padalos-dalos, I need to observe the situation. Bago ako gumawa ng hakbang o hindi kaya bago ko sabihin ang totoo sa kan'ya.
“I’m just glad that you’re okay” he said, sitting back down on the sofa, his legs crossed. “I’ve already started looking for whoever did this to you.”
Dahil sa sinabi nito ay bigla kong naalala ang bag.
Sh*t!
“Nasaan na 'yong bag?” tanong ko sa kan'ya.
He stared at me intently..
“Why are you looking for that bag?” he coldly asked, ignoring my question.
Iniwas ko naman ang tingin ko sa kan'ya, napakagat muna ako sa labi bago sumagot.
“I heard him say that one of your important things is inside that bag,” I swallowed. “That’s why I took it from that thief.”
I saw him nod from my peripheral vision and pick up the bouquet of flowers beside him. I felt nervous when he stood up and walked towards me.
Napatingin ako sa kanya ng ibigay niya sa'kin ang bulaklak na hawak-hawak niya.
“Y-you bought that for me?” I was shocked. This was the first time I’d ever received flowers from him.
From my husband!
“Yeah” he replied boredly
Tinanggap ko naman ito kaya ay bumalik na ito sa pagkakaupo.
"A thank-you gift, for what you did."
Napangiti ako at inamoy-amoy ang bulaklak. Ang bango nila.
“But I was wondering, who killed those two thieves in the mansion?”
Natigilan ako sa pag amoy, sh*t?
“The one who did this to me, he’s the one who killed the two thieves,” I answered, but still looking at the beautiful flowers.
Nagbabakasaling mabawasan ang kaba ko dahil sa ganda nila.
“Oh yeah?” sang ayon niya kaya medyo nakahinga ako ng maluwag.
Dapat ko bang ipagpatuloy ang pag iinarte ko? Para mapaniwala talaga siya? Okay, okay..
“I was actually terrified at that time,” I looked up at him, tears in my eyes. “I thought it was the end for me.”
“But you were brave. You managed to escape from them” he smiled, but his smile was still cold. There was no emotion in it.
“Y-yeah” dahan-dahan kong ipinatong ang flowers sa kama at tumayo ako “Cr lang ako” paalam ko at mabilis na pumasok sa banyo.
Hindi ko na kayang harapin pa ito, baka kapag mag tagal ay mahalata nitong nag sisinungaling ako.
Napatingin ako sa reflection ko sa salamin, namumutla ako pero maganda parin naman. Nakalugay ang medyo wavy kong pulang buhok.
Pinunasa ko ang tira-tirang pekeng luha sa aking mga mata at huminga ako ng malalim, kaya mo ito.
“Just relax almera y—”
“Should I help you relax?” My eyes flew open, and there was Clark, staring back at me from the mirror.
Nilingon ko agad siya.
“W-what are doing h-here?” kinakabahan kong tanong.
“I was just curious about something,” he started walking towards me, making me step back and lean against the sink. “Why did the thieves kill their accomplice?” As he got closer, he quickly lifted me and sat me on the sink.
Oh sh*t!
“W-what do you mean? I’m the one who killed them? How could I have killed them, I’m just a w-woman?!” sunod-sunod kong tanong.
I tried to force myself to be angry, kahit na may nangingibabaw sa'kin ang kaba.
Ikinulong ako nito sa mga bisig niya.
“I should be the one asking you that,” I was startled when he pulled a gun. “You’re just a woman, how can you do that?” he asked flatly.
“Clark—” He pointed the gun between my thighs.
“Who are you really?” His voice was cold and stern.
