Marcus stepped out of the hospital room, the door clicking shut behind him.
He answered the phone with a low,
"Yeah?"
On the other end, Marco's voice was sharp, tense.
"Boss is getting out of control."
Marcus's heart dropped.
"What do you mean, Marco?"
He could hear it then, the screeching of tires, as if he is rushing to somewhere.
"Hannah's father..."
Marco said grimly.
"He's a minister. Boss has got that old man shaking so hard his knees might give out."
Marcus furrowed his brow, jaw clenching.
"Who the hell is Hannah?"
A pause.
"She's the one who hurt Little Miss."
Marcus stopped walking. Everything around him went still.
His breath left him in one long, cold exhale.
"What?"
"Yeah."
Marco said.
"She's the one. And Boss is making sure her father understands exactly what that means."
Marcus's heart slammed in his chest. He understood now. He finally understood the depth of Leonardo's rage.
This wasn't just a family issue, it was personal, deep in their bones.
And it wasn't just anger, it was an overwhelming need for justice. Marcus could feel the fury of his brother in every syllable Marco spoke.
He turned, walking briskly towards the exit of the hospital. His mind was already racing, calculating the quickest way to get to Leonardo. He could feel his brother's wrath like a storm, brewing stronger by the second.
"Try to hold him down, Marco. "
Marcus said as he pushed through the doors.
"I'm coming up right now."
"I'm going to the school."
Marco replied.
"Domain is there."
Marcus froze mid-step, his blood running cold.
"What do you mean, Domain is there? He was just with me..."
He stopped.
No. No, he wasn't.
Domain hadn't stepped inside the hospital room. He'd stayed outside.
Quiet. Still.
He hadn’t come in because he was already moving. Silent. Calculated. Just like he always was before a fight.
Marco continued, breathless,
"I don't know how he got there, but he's with his gang. They're tearing the whole damn place apart. He even took down two of our own bodyguards. Non lethal, but serious."
Marcus didn't say anything for a second. His mind was racing.
Of course. Of course Domain was ready to destroy everything. He was a volcano waiting to erupt, calm until now because he had been waiting for this moment. Waiting to get his hands on the people who'd hurt Ariana.
Marcus's fists clenched involuntarily. He knew how dangerous Domain could be when pushed too far. But Marcus also knew something else, his brother wasn't just acting on his own rage. He was honoring Ariana. Protecting her in the only way he knew how by making them all pay for the pain she'd endured.
