Arisha's POV:

I held the miniature airplane gently in my hands, tracing the printed words-FlyAsia on one side and Captain Mikhazra Kamizaki on the other. I had it custom-made. Sakto lang ang laki. It was simple, yes, but meaningful.

A welcome gift.
For her.
For my Azra.

Tonight was the night. I planned a dinner date. Finally, after everything, peace... with her.

My heart thumped as I walked toward the counter, cradling the little plane like it was something sacred-because it was.

Then, out of nowhere-

BANG.

Someone bumped into me, hard.

And just like that, the plane slipped from my hands.

No.

Panic surged through my chest. My eyes snapped to the floor-and my breath hitched.

One of the wings had broken off.

"Shit-"

I crouched down quickly, picking up the broken piece with trembling fingers. My chest started to heat up with frustration. Nakakainis. Bakit ba ang clumsy ng mga tao?

"I'm really sorry, Ari."

That voice-

I looked up sharply.

It was her.
Gwenora.

She looked nervous, the panic in her eyes reflecting mine. "I didn't mean to."

I exhaled sharply. "Gwenora? God, why weren't you careful?" My voice cracked with the weight of frustration and worry as I glanced back down at the broken plane. "This was supposed to be perfect."

She didn't respond. Instead, she turned to the staff. "I'll pay. Kahit magkano. Fix it."

"A-Ah, Ms. Yña-"

"Mrs. Kamizaki," I corrected coldly, eyes still on the broken wing.

"Uh-yes po, Mrs. Kamizaki," the staff stammered. "We can fix the wings. It will only take around twenty minutes, if makakapag-antay po kayo."

I closed my eyes for a second. I had no choice. Time was running out-may pupuntahan pa kami kay Malisse before the dinner with Azra.

I handed the mini plane to the woman behind the counter. "Fine," I muttered.

I noticed Gwenora still standing there. She looked... uneasy.

"What?" I raised a brow at her.

"Nothing," she said quickly.

"If you're guilty about breaking it, okay lang. Ma-aayos naman. But if you're guilty of wasting my twenty minutes-you should be," I said, crossing my arms.

She looked at me, cool and unreadable. "I'm not guilty naman."

Ang kapal. I sighed, already exhausted. "Why are you still here?"

"I'm waiting for my customized gift too."

"Talaga? Then bakit parang iiyak ka na?"

Her eyes flicked away. "Nothing, Ari. It's just... I feel like something's wrong."

My brows furrowed. The seriousness in her voice caught me off guard. She meant it.

"Mikhazra..." she whispered.
