He was sure someone was purposefully spreading it. His legal team is collecting all evidence to sue the people who are spreading the baseless, malicious rumors. Jimin only needed evidence to convict the mastermind. He could think of at least one person who could be behind all this.

She sighed, looking a bit exhausted due to her morning sickness. "I'm sorry it's all happening because of me. They saw you at the hospital and people automatically assumed it's Jungkook." She shrugged. "You know your dad won't mind it either. You guys don't have to protect me."

Jimin rolled his eyes. "I'm not throwing you under the bus to save my mate. People don't have to know what's going on in our lives and they don't have the right to judge." He sat back. "Jungkook doesn't care about it either. We don't owe anyone and we will announce whenever we feel like it. Until then, you're gonna sit back, rest and enjoy this pregnancy. Focus on my sister." He winked.

She scoffed fondly. "I still can't believe how you're so calm about this."

"I'm pretty excited to be honest," he admitted. "I know exactly how I'm gonna spoil her. She'd be so adorable, I wouldn't wanna let her down."

She chuckled. "My dad and mom still find it hard to believe that I'm pregnant."

"You told them?"

She nodded. "They wanted to know if Jungkook trapped you with pregnancy. I told them it wasn't Jungkook who was pregnant, but me. They couldn't believe it."

He hummed with a soft nod. His mate was currently at the shower so that gave them a few minutes to talk about the ongoing issue without him overhearing it. Not that he wanted to hide but he was better off not seeing those ridiculous things those articles said about him.

"Mom wanted to come for a visit. I told her I'll allow her to come if she can promise to keep her opinions to herself because Jungkook isn't going anywhere. She hasn't called me since," she replied. "I don't mind too much. My in-laws are better anyway. I'm glad to have your grandmother home. She's been a great help and she is taking it better than anyone else."

"Of course it's her grand pup. She loves children," Jimin added. "It's gonna be okay, mom. When is dad coming home?"

A soft smile curved her lips. "In a few days. He was ready to board the plane as soon as he heard the news, but this merger is important too. We got everything handled here. There's nothing he can't do from there."

Jimin nodded. "Yeah. He's better at handling the investors and shareholders than me." He quickly finished typing his response and hit send before closing the laptop lid.

"How is the Shin Global acquisition coming along?" she questioned. "Heard that Na-Ra has filed a petition challenging Kang-dae's ownership."

"Majority of the shareholders are in agreement. Since Na-ra isn't a major shareholder, she cannot challenge Kang-Dae's decision. He only wanted a beach house at Jeju with a retirement fund to live peacefully. We agreed to it. The other payments will cover his debts. With Myeong-suk filing for divorce, half of his debt liability falls on her, which she doesn't realize now. And we will finalize the acquisition of parts of Shin Global soon."

His mother nodded thoughtfully. "Our facilities are in full capacity. How are you planning to accommodate the factory workers? They're the most affected in all this."

"Namjoon hyung, Hoseok hyung and Yoongi hyung are helping with it. Jin hyung is absorbing the mid-level staff while others are helping with factory expansion. Only then the employee's issue can be sorted out. If there's anyone left after this, they will go to any of Taehyung's companies. We're also talking to other companies to see if they're willing to lend a hand."
