George is dropped at his apartment, he exchanges numbers with Lucas and enters his apartment. He thinks about what he went through during this crazy morning, his head spinning a bit. He can't go back to campus, all eyes will be on him, but he also can't drop out. What are his options? He has been convicted, so is he even allowed back? He sits and thinks all of this to himself. He is glad to see his friend Lucas, who has come to his rescue yet again, and yet, George can't recall the last time he has ever done something for Lucas. Plus, all these dreams he has been having are so weird and they seem to be somehow connected to the murders he has been convicted of. His head is spinning a bit too much, so he lies down for a while and falls asleep.

When he wakes, it's later in the afternoon, just before 3pm, and he wonders what to do. He looks at his phone and sees some messages. At the top of the messages received, is some from Matt, telling him about the memorial for the Louise girl from their college. There is also a message from the college, George is to stay off campus until his case is resolved; if further convictions arise, then he will be expelled. He puts his phone down on the desk beside his bed and gets up. Meanwhile, at the offices above the police station in the same building, Helena Meyer is standing hunched over at her desk, looking at some images and documents. Then from behind her, Detective Fisher walks in. 'None of this makes any sense Jason, all the forensics show that George Rogers is guilty, but what motive could he possibly have, and he honestly doesn't look like he could hurt a fly, how is this evidence deemed "conclusive"?' she asks. 'There's video evidence as well, he was seen entering and leaving the scene of the crime' answers Jason Fisher. 'Where is it? Let me see' says Helena hastily. 'Woah, the chief doesn't want you on this case, just to observe, remember?' Fisher says.

'Well, let me have a look. I will just be "observing" won't I?' says Helena. Fisher agrees and takes her to the room where the video footage is. They look closely, the video is from a camera outside an old building. It shows a man walking towards the entrance, a single metal door. The man had on glasses, a white jacket that looks like a lab coat; his hair and visible facial features looks exactly like George Rogers. It only lasts a few seconds as he walks to the door and enters, then after some time, he exits the building and only behind him, his back area and legs and head can be seen. Helena replays the video over and over, looking for something, just anything that can prove George's innocence. She eventually decided to take the video footage home. Meanwhile, in a nearby suburban area, a memorial is held at the house of the recently murdered girl, Louise Garver. Her parents stand on the porch in front of the house, holding a candle in their hands. A picture of Louise is on display; more people arrive to show respect, each holding a candle, some putting flowers in front of the porch.

A ferrari then arrives, and out climbs Lucas, now with a denim jacket and sunglasses, same black jeans. George is hesitant to climb out, but Lucas convinces him. George steps out wearing a dark blue hoodie, a black pants and white sneakers. As he climbs out, he spots Matt amongst the crowd, as well as Claire, who both turn and see him. George feels uneasy and as he looks around the crowd, who are all facing forward and don't notice him yet, he looks at the picture of Louise and his eyes goes wide as he realizes he has seen this girl in his dream. She was pleading for her life, flashbacks start taking over but Lucas touches his shoulder, asking if he's okay. He nods but then notices the deceased's parents looking right at him; the rest of the crowd all turn around and face him. There are some angry faces.

'Murderer!' shouts one person from the crowd. 'He didn't do it, you nut!' Lucas shouts back, but the entire crowd starts mumbling amongst themselves. George takes a few steps back, wanting to leave, Lucas looks at him and knows he is very uncomfortable. Just then, Claire comes towards them, looking at George with a sad look on her face. She walks up to Lucas and hugs him, 'Hey, you' she says. 'Hey Claire, how you doing?' says Lucas. George looks at them both confused, before either could talk, some of the crowd of people get aggressive and throw remarks their way with some reaching for rocks. Lucas decides it's time to leave, getting in his fast car, followed by George, 'Hey, wait for me, yeah?' says Claire and she gets in too. Lucas pulls away, with some people following right behind the car and some a few feet in front of it. Lucas steps on the gas and accelerates, the people in front of them having to dive out of the way.
