She's shocked. Confused. Scared. Uncertain.

"Hey love, I know this must be so sudden to you but we're getting married this weekend. How do you feel about it?" I say softly and her eyes widen.

She's looking so cute right now with big eyes, showing how shocked and confused she is right now.

"Marriage?" She whispered so slowly it almost  went unheard by me.

"Yes Avni, our families have agreed for it. I guess your parents must be soon calling you to inform about it" I wink and just then her phone rings.

She picks it up and says in her sweet voice "Yes papa?"

"What?" Her eyes widen making her look damn cute. She looks at me with those eyes and I just want to roll them back as she feels intense pleasure under me.

"Papa but..." She goes silent as she looks down.

Suddenly, I hear her sniffle. My limbs go numb.

I quickly get off from my seat and kneel infront of her. I hold her free hand in mine and glance at her face. Tears roll down her cheeks. My heart breaks at this moment.

"Ok... papa.." Her voice chokes as she clutches the phone in her right hand while I still held her left hand gently in my grip.

"Love" I can her softly and she looks at me. I don't think she realises that I'm holding her hand and I'm so close to her, just kneeling before her legs.

"What is it?" I ask in a soft tone and another set of tears roll down her cheeks. She pulls back her hand from my grip.

"Please talk to me, love" I whisper while looking into her glossy eyes as she wipes her cheeks.

"Papa..." Her voice cracks and I nod humming softly, signalling her to continue.

"He wants me to marry you.." She mumbles in her cracked voice.

"And, you don't want to marry me?" I ask.

She nods innocently.

"Can I know why?" I ask.

"I want to study and become something first.." She mumbles.

I couldn't help but smile "Then you'll marry me?"

She thinks for soemtime and then shrugs.

"Words, love" I say a bit sternly.

"I don't know..." She mumbles.

"Do you know a thing?" I say and she looks at me curiously.

"No matter what, I'm going to marry you. I'll do everything I can to make you happy. You're the love of my life. The one, I don't want to let go. You'll be my wife. My better half. All I know is, I'll love you like no man has ever loved his woman before"

Her mouth hangs open. I chuckle softly and get up to only lean down and peck her cheeks softly taking her by surprise.

I step back to my seat and settle down to only find her cheeks turned a tint of red.

I chuckle and she stays silent.

"So, Mrs.Thapar , get ready to become mine" I wink at her and she just looks at me in a complete surprise.

My phone rings and I pick it up "Yes mom!"

"Rudra, what's this? I got to know that you're marrying that girl?" Mom asks worriedly.

"Yeah, right now I'm with your daughter in law.." I say while looking at anvi who's flustered a bit.

"What? Rudra, what is going on?"

"Mr.Sharma is looking forward to the wedding this weekend... mom, make sure everything is arranged for your daughter in law, rest I'll make sure are fine..."

"But Rudra, did you ask her if she's ready to marry you?"

"Ofcourse mom, she's..." I say while not letting my gaze off her. She squirms under my constant gaze and I really love the sight of her timid personality.

"I'll talk to her myself" With that mom disconnect the call and I chuckle shoving my phone in my pocket again.

"So, do you have any kind of lehenga in your mind?" I ask wanting to know what she wants to wear on our special day.

She looks at me and shakes her head.

"I'll get you one, today"

She shakes her head and I sigh "You're coming with me right now"

With that I get up and she just stares at me.

I hold her hand "Come on"

She gets up and I lead her outside.

"Sir your order?" The waiter comes behind and I order to my bodyguard "Make sure this thing shuts down for keeping their customer waiting for the order"

He nods and I make sure Avni is seated in the passenger seat before I go around and take the wheel.

"Um..." I hear her hesitate. I glance at her and she bites her lower lip out of nervousness.

I groan internally as she just turned me on with her not so innocent act.

"Avni, just say" I sigh and she says softly "I want to go home"

"I can send over the lehenga, just lemme know the color" I say as I turn the car towards her pg.

She stays silent while looking out of the glass.

"Love, ignore me all you want now but know that, right from this weekend you won't be able to do it"  I say and she looks at me with wide eyes.

I can't help but smile "Avni, I love you. I fell for you the moment I saw you. I fell for your innocence. Your looks. Your voice. It must be too much to grasp things right now, but I'll make sure you're happy. Trust me, you wouldn't want to marry anyone else..." I wink at her and I can see her cheeks turning a bright shade of red.

I chuckle and soon pull over in front of her pg.

"I'll miss you" I whisper looking at her while she looks at me with soft eyes.

Without saying anything, she gets down and walks into the gates not sparing a glance at me.

I take a deep breath as a wave of happiness bursts inside me, knowing she'll be my wife in matter of 5 days.
