7 months ago. In Mumbai.

It was late at night, it was raining heavily, and the rain was so heavy that if someone did not have any work, they remained inside their homes.

Meanwhile, a car is coming slowly on an empty road but the car suddenly stops when the driver sees a child lying on the road in front of the car.

" What happened?" asks Agastya who was sitting in the backseat of the car

Actually Agastya had just landed in Mumbai a while ago, he had come here for some work and now he was going to his hotel.

" Sir, maybe there is a child on the road." The driver replies and Agastya is shocked to hear that there is a child on the road in such heavy rain.

Agastya leans forward a little and he looks out of the car to the road where a little child is wrapped in a cloth, her arms and legs flying in the air, making it clear that she is alive:

And seeing this, Agastya does not think anything further and immediately gets out of the car and goes to that child.

Due to heavy rain, Agastya gets completely drenched in seconds, but after hearing the crying voice of the baby, he does not care about anything else except that baby.

He picks up the baby in his arms and is shocked to see her eyes open and after seeing her all he can think is who left her to die in such heavy rain?
Well, looking at the baby he could guess that it was a newborn, but after all who abandoned this newborn like this and why?

" Let's go to a hospital quickly." Taking the child in his arms, Agastya sits directly in the car and gives this order to the driver and the driver heads straight to the hospital.

On the way he does whatever he can to comfort the baby, Agastya removes the wet cloth from the baby and takes out a thick towel from his bag and wraps him in it so that baby can get some relief.

Reaching the hospital, the doctor examines the child and there Agastya finds out that it is actually a newborn who was probably born today but what the doctor tells him next shocks him.

" This is not something new...there are many cases where people throw away their baby girls as soon as they are born. This is probably what happened with this girl as well. Just because she is a girl, her family abandoned her." The doctor tells Agastya

" Many families abandon the girl child in the hospital after her birth. Don't know when this society will completely stop discriminating between boys and girls." The doctor adds which Agastya listens to silently

" Doctor, please treat her as best as you can. I want her to be fine and completely healthy." Agastya tells the doctor to which the doctor assures him that he will try his best.

Time passes. Agastya remains present in the hospital as long as the baby is being treated.
And as she was a newborn baby and on top of that she was soaked in the rain for so long, she had become very weak, So the doctor tells Agastya that they will keep her under observation for at least 4-5 days because her condition is very serious.

Days pass and after 5 days, finally the doctor tells Agastya that the baby is fine now and hearing this Agastya breathes a sigh of relief.
Well, in those last 5 days while the baby's treatment was going on, Agastya remained present in the hospital without worrying about anything.
He had just informed his family that he had to stay in Mumbai for some reason so that they do not worry about him.
