Inside Mount Weather

"Tell me about your people. A lot of you have mentioned the same person. Someone named Artemis?" Dante asks Jasper. "Artemis is our leader. Clarke only answered as our leader because Arty isn't here." Jasper tells the man simply. "She's... a warrior. She went through a lot because of the grounders. But she still kept her shit together and lead us through the battle." He smiles thinking of his brothers best friend.

"So she's strong?" He asks the boy who nods. "Oh yeah. She definitely is. None of us know what they really went through there. But Arty went through something bad with the grounders. But she never let that stop her. And I can guarantee she's still alive and looking for us." He replies easily. "Artemis is awesome. She changes all of us for the better. Some of us are just to stubborn to realize it. Including her." He adds on chuckling.

"What about Artemis? Jasper told me a little about her." Dante asks, now talking to Monty. "She's protective of the people she loves and cares about." He says easily. "That sounds like a great quality for her to have." Dante replies with a smile. "Curls is... a warrior. She's a total badass with any weapon she touches, and even better with a gun. Let her out with Nate or Murphy? No one stands a chance." Monty tells the man.

Monty was hoping to intimidate the man into letting them go. He had no doubt in his mind, that Artemis figured out where they were. And she would be here guns blazing in no time. And no doubt Murphy and Nate would be backing her the whole time, with the rest of the ark following behind. He had heard from the others that the ark came down. Any survivors would follow Arty.

Normal POV

As we walked down the trail to finish our journey, Murphy was on my right. Nate joined my left with Clarke. Raven was on the cart next to Finn's body. Octavia was walking just behind us with Lincoln. "How are you doing?" Bellamy asks, joining Murphys other side. "I'm alright. Honestly." I say seeing the look on his face.

"I just worry about you. You're my sister." He says and I nod. "I know. But I promise I'm alright. I mean do you see this war paint?" I smirk at him and he chuckles. "She's a total badass." Nate agrees and I nudge him. We come down a small dirt path and they turn to us as we stop. "Weapons. We need to disarm before we enter." We're told. I hide my pout starting to pull off my weapons.

"Artemis. You may keep one." Lexa speaks and I turn to her confused. "Wanheda, will be trusted and respected in this village." She states and I nod keeping the sword, stuck in it's sheath. "Good choice." Keran tells me quietly. The gates open and we walk in with them. I was just behind Lexa now, Keran on my left, Murphy still on my right. There were angry murmurs seeing us.

But then shock covered a lot of it when people saw me. "Do not let them see anything but your confidence. Straight face." Keran mutters to me. I do just that, keeping my head high as we walk. A man steps in front of Lexa ranting, I think about his family. The few words Mira had been teaching me said that. Gustus pushes forward hitting the man multiple times.

"Heda." I say quietly as I step up next to Lexa. She glances over to me with a raised brow. "They will continue to blame my people. If we are supposed to work together, stop him." I say quietly. She sighs but agrees turning back. "Enough." She calls and Gustus drops him. She then turns to face the crowd, turning me with her.
