ISABELLE

ELECTRICTY.

Thick, and crackling with emotion. It consumed me, and I wasn't even sure what it was.

And it wasn't just Alora and Mason anymore.

All of us: Blair, Leo and Kai too all had powers.

Leo and Kai came rushing in whilst Blair was on the floor, not being able to control herself. The sight of her crumpled like paper made them freeze on the spot.

Once Alora and I managed to compose her, she sat down on one of the benches, still shaken and shivering. But, we all gathered around - despite not liking one another - put all of our disagreements aside and finally decided to let everything out in the open.

"This cant be real." I shook my head, the first to speak. None of this is adding up, something always has a solution to it, every problem has an answer.

But this is different, its foreign to us, completely new so we are stuck, going round in circles trying to figure something out something that will never be solved.

and I solved everything.

I felt defeated. Utterly useless.

Everyone was quiet, even Alora who is usually the loudest in any room was quiet. "But it is." She finally mumbled, and looked up. Her blue eyes, holding hope and pride as I noticed her gulp away the ounce of fear she had.

She stood up, shoulders back and strong stance as though she was ready to take on the world. "Guys, this doesn't have to be a bad thing." She looked to each of us, glaring at Kai at any given chance.

Alora and Kai are like fire on fire, they are both so similar, yet so different. Both of them always have opinions and aren't afraid to voice them, but where Alora is positive and loud, Kai is more reserved and gloomy.

"How about firstly, we all come to terms with our powers." I suggested, tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear, on instinct when my nerves began to creep up on me.

Mason, his eyes drowning with the depth of the ocean as I couldn't help myself from drowning in them. He has always been in the back of my mind, since last summer. He used to date Blair, but that was when they were kids and as much as I hate to admit it, and how scary it is.. we have grown up now.

His blonde hair like the sand, soft and easy to sink into. His excessive use of manners, even when its not needed. Hes the perfect example of a man, but I'm too stressed on my school to even think about anyone else.

He stood up, standing next me, slowly and loose, he rubbed my shoulder. They tensed at his delicate touch that contrasted with his calloused hands. "She's right." He agreed, his tone casual and low, and I had to act like his touch was doing nothing to me, but still, I felt crimson blossom my cheeks.

"Fine." Blair pressed, sharp but hesitant. Her tanned arms were crossed, still sitting down with her usual resting bitch face in tact.

Leo, always the one to make light of a bad situation, nudged Blair who seemed to be disinterested in anything he had to say. "Come on Blair, like Alora said, this dosent have to be a bad thing."

She just glared at him, dismissing his attempt at a conversation. Though, he wasn't surprised. Everyone is aware that Blair is reversed, like a rock during a big wave that just does not budge.

"You go first then." She demanded, finally breaking the tension.

Our group, have never gotten along much with their group. In fact, we choose not to communicate but now we have all been tied together by the same thing. What we just cant figure out, is why.
