I don't mean when we are making love.
I'm talking about the simple things in everyday life.
It's your cuddles that wake me up in the middle of the night.
It's when you say you are sorry and you look me in the eye, and it's not your words that I believe, but the devoted look you give me.
It's when you put your hand on mine out of nowhere and give it a gentle squeeze.
It's the simple surprises like a foot rub or you showing up with breakfast in the morning.
It's how you rub my head at night just to help me fall asleep
It's when you walk through the door after a long day at work with a smile in your eyes when you see me.
It's how you immediately wash your feet after you take your work boots off because you know I like that.
True intimacy is when your actions show me how much you love me every single day.
