Season 2

Episode 8:
Spacewalker

I look at the people gathered, some throwing Finn dirty looks. "Alright. Here's what is on the table. You've all heard what happened at the village. About what Finn did. The grounders Commander, is offering us a deal of course. We give them Finn, and no more of our people die." I say to everyone. "What about them?" Someone calls out. "What do you mean?" I ask seeing it's Millers dad.

"Earlier. You said three of their people were going to be executed as well. Why?" He asks me. "Right. Three of their men. Did things that are not okay with the grounders. That is not okay with anyone. And they are being punished for it." I explain shortly. He eyes me for a second, before understanding flashes in his eyes. "That's why the others were happy by that news." He confirms and I nod my head.

"Yeah. Either way. This is not the Ark anymore. We can't have one person telling others how it's going to be. If we're going to live and survive here. ALONGSIDE the grounders. We need to make these decisions together. That being said. Finn, is wanting to offer himself to the grounders. He does not want anyone else to suffer, for what he's done." I tell them.

"I already know how you two feel about this. Is there anyone against his choice? Because it is ultimately his choice." I speak as Clarke and Raven are both standing there upset. It's quiet for a minute before another parent of the remaining 100 step forward. "It's an honorable thing you're doing kid. I can't say I'm alright sacrificing a kid your age. But I also can't take your choice from you." The man speaks.

There's mutters of agreement behind him as Finn nods his head. "I can't hide from what I did. Especially when I was told multiple times to stop. That none of our people were there. Arty... can I ask you something?" He says looking up at me. "Of course." I nod slightly. "After all they've done to you... why are you so mad about what I did?" He asks curiously.

"Finn... you shot up their village. Like you said, you were told our friends weren't there. I may not like them, but some of those people you shot were children. You screwed up." I tell him and he looks down at my words. "There's only a select few I trust of their people. But the kids are innocent." I say and he nods his head. "Does anyone else have anything to say?" I ask and it's quiet.

"Take your time to say your goodbyes. I'll walk with you when you're ready." I tell him and he nods. I walk off with Murphy, Octavia, and Nate following. "You alright?" Nate asks me. "It's just hard. Giving up one of your own people. Sure, Finn pissed me off. Doesn't mean I want to send him off to his death." I say and he nods. "We get it. But he made this choice." Murphy reminds me.

"Doesn't make me feel any better." I mumble softly. "Want me to go with you? When you walk him over?" He asks me. "You're funny if you thought you'd stay here." I state and Octavia laughs. Nate smirks but hides his face as he does so. "Arty. What's the plan past this?" Bellamy calls as he walks over. "That will be something I ask Lexa when I go over there in a bit." I tell him. "I know it's a bit insane. What if I got inside the mountain?" He asks me.

"Are you insane? Bellamy, you and Octavia are the only blood family I still have. Hell no I'm not letting you do that." I tell him. "Why not? If Clarke can get out, I can get in." He tells me. "I get where you're coming from. But I can't lose you Bell. We will figure out another way. Please." I plead with him. He sighs but nods his head.

"Fine. Just... keep the idea in your head. It may be the only option." He tells me. I nod my head and he kisses my forehead. I smile up at him and he smiles back before heading away. "He's insane. He's officially lost it." Octavia says behind me. "Yes he has. But he's right. The acid fog alone is our biggest issue. We need an inside man to shut it down." I frown. "Talk about this later." She insists and I nod. "Agreed." I say softly.

After a good hour goes by, Finn walks over. "Ready?" I ask him. "Can I talk to you?" He asks me and I nod walking a bit off with him. "I need to apologize. What I did, I had no right to do. I know it's no excuse. But I was so focused on Clarke... it's not an excuse." He tells me. "You're right. It's not. But I accept your apology. Finn I get it. Love can blind you to other things. But you still need to have a filter." I tell him.

"I never wanted to out you like that. You shouldn't have felt forced to tell your brother. I'm really sorry." He tells me and I nod. "Thank you. For apologizing." I tell him and he nods. "Can I ask a favor?" He asks me and I raise a brow. "Depends what it is." I tell him. "Can uh... can you just... end it?" He asks and I pause confused.

"End what?" I ask him. "I'll deliver myself to them. But... I heard what Lincoln told you. About what they would do. Clarke and Raven shouldn't have to see that. None of our people should. Would you... just..." He stumbles over his words and my eyes widen as I understand. "You want me to... to kill you?" I ask shocked. "I know it's asking a lot. Trust me I know. But... I don't want them to see me go like that." He tells me.

"I uh... I don't know. I'll think about it." I tell him and he nods. "I'm ready. Whenever you are." He tells me and I nod. He walks away and I turn to Murphy holding out my hand. "What was that about?" He asks softly. "He was apologizing." I tell him softly and he nods. Raven and Clarke are standing with Finn arms crossed. Both looking like they were crying.

I give Clarke a hug, whispering an apology in her ear and she nods. I turn hugging Raven as well. "Raven... I need you to be okay. With anything that happens. I need you to understand." I whisper. She sniffles but nods her head. When she lets me go I can see she's confused. "I'll explain it all later. Just... please understand." I say softly and she nods wiping her face.

I turn walking to the gate with Finn and Murphy. They open the gate and we walk through. Slowly we head up the hill, the two riders flanking us as we go. We get up there and Lexa comes out, her eyes falling on Finn. "Take him." She says and two grounders grab him pulling him away. "You two. Join me inside." Lexa says walking back into the tent.

We follow her inside and she motions to a few chairs. I slowly sit, confused. "As grounders, we tend to do our hair a certain way. May I?" She says motioning to me. "Um... sure?" I say confused. She walks behind me, and Murphy shifts, his eyes locked on her. "I do not wish to harm her. Murphy was it?" She asks and he nods. "I'm simply showing her how we do our hair." She states.

"Why are you doing this?" I ask confused. "If we are to work together, we must have trust in each other. I believe something as simple as doing hair is a step in that direction." She says. I hum and nod my head. "Indra has found those responsible. They will be brought out with Finn." She tells me and I tense. "You will get your justice. I give you my word on that." She tells me and I nod my head. Justice.
