Strawberry Cookie furrowed her brows. "But how did you pull it off? I thought that Fortune Teller Cookie and you were the same... And, Reader Cookie, how did you know that?"
Reader Cookie grinned. "Remember when we were in the guest room?"
Strawberry Cookie nodded hesitantly. "Yes...?"
"Well... when I was hiding from Black Sapphire Cookie, I saw a very familiar Cookie. And it just hit me that we had a chance to win this... So what better way than by going back to my old ways..."
Wizard Cookie sighed. "You mean as a chaotic gremlin?"
Reader Cookie smirked. "THAT'S RIGHT!"
"But you still are..." Wizard Cookie deadpanned.
"Heh, maybe. But a more tame one."
Wizard Cookie smirked. "And what about the kiss...?"
Reader Cookie froze mid-smirk, their face instantly turning a deep shade of red. They quickly covered their face with their hands, their voice coming out awkwardly. "Well... I didn't see it coming, to be truthful... I almost lost my composure back then... heh..."
GingerBrave giggled, while Strawberry Cookie chimed in with closed eyes, "You didn't look against it."
Reader Cookie shot her a glare. "Oy, oy..."
Strawberry Cookie continued, "But still, why was Fortune Teller Cookie even there?"
Pure Vanilla Cookie chuckled warmly. "Ha ha, don't you remember? 'In this tower, space and time intertwine in a myriad of reflections.' Here, the future of the past and the present coexist. The cards showed me a glimpse of a future. A future that had yet to come to pass... Fortunately, I was able to prevent it. But... I am surprised that you didn't use it to your advantage, Reader Cookie."
Reader Cookie sighed, rubbing their temples. "I bend the rules of magic... I am not a freaking miraculous worker! Not all the time, that is... And I am NOT touching time magic. Too messy... Too many things could go wrong."
GingerBrave beamed. "Thanks, Fortune Teller— Er, Pure Vanilla Cookie?"
Fortune Teller Cookie remained silent for a moment before smiling at them all. "...I've... changed. Thanks to you, who believed in your own strength rather than fearing a bleak future. If not for you, I would've been wandering, lost in the fog of uncertainty within Pure Vanilla Cookie's soul..."
As he spoke, his form glowed warmly before he turned to Pure Vanilla Cookie. Then, in a cascade of golden light, he disappeared into him.
GingerBrave gasped. "Did you see that?! Fortune Teller Cookie and Pure Vanilla Cookie became one!"
Pure Vanilla Cookie chuckled. "Ha ha, we were the same Cookie all along."

The tower trembled violently, sending shards of golden light scattering into the void. A deep, resonant hum filled the space, growing louder with every passing moment.
GingerBrave, Wizard, Strawberry, and Reader Cookie stumbled slightly, their eyes darting around in alarm.
"Huh?!" GingerBrave gasped, bracing himself.
Shadow Milk Cookie's voice cut through the tremors like a whip. "Excuse me? I'm so sorry to disturb you... but I'M STILL THE MAIN CHARACTER HERE!"
Reader Cookie leaned toward Wizard Cookie and whispered, "Yeah... he's pissed alright."
Wizard merely nodded in agreement.
