Morris and Noah's rat up there!

"And then, you'll have unlimited access to our IT specialists who will help with whatever possible malfunction for free. Any time of the day, or night. Those guys never sleep." Morris chuckled, pointing over his shoulder.

The group of people that together with Morris formed a circle all chuckled, voices barely going heard in the main lobby of the company, what with the fuss all around. These were all representing potential clients, looking into acquiring routers. A meeting with them all had just ended and it was Morris's duty to take them to lunch as a special treat, and they were all waiting for taxis now.

"That's actually very helpful, my company has yet to have an IT wing. What with your services I might as well just stop looking into forming one. That's a lot of money saved!" a woman running a scented candles production company admired.

Morris shrugged, a grin to go. Little did they know, once you get associated with Vex, you get coaxed into buying more and more: little things, like, say, a switch device that performs exceptionally well with the router you just bought, and maybe our latest wi-fi extender, and since we're old pals how about a couple microwaves?

Morris kept at it, discreetly getting past talking about IT, for the thought of it was increasingly turning his smile upside down.

Just as he was about to go and make a knock-knock joke, luckily, a surprise element crossed his path.

A lollipop, to be precise.

The candy rustled faintly with that familiar squeak. It was held up by two slim fingers forming a rhombus. They were, much like the candy, white.

He let his eyes trail down the arm until he saw cute little Noah. Well, cute to Morris for some reason or another. His dark circles were standing out a particular lot that day, accentuated by the shadow from the hood on his head. His hoodie was black and loose, and it said 'This girl needs a coffee' with an arrow pointing to his big head.

"Go to the Carnival with me." Noah said, expression not inching one bit. Not quite neutral, his eyes were a tad wide, expectant, hopeful.

Morris gaped silently, daring to peek at his group of people. The better part of them looked inconvenienced, even offended, while the other (two women out of the eight total people) smiled behind their hands.

"Can we..." Morris barely moved his lips. "Discuss this sometime else?"

Noah's eyebrows knitted together and the candy started rustling loudly in his death grip. That was until he unwrapped it in a couple moves, which really impressed Morris since after two and a half decades of existing he's had yet to figure out the wrapping.

Obviously, Noah shoved the lollipop in Morris's mouth.

"Hey now, don't- mmm, coconut." Morris pinched the stick.

Taking advantage of his distraction, Noah inched closer like the cute thing he was, until his big hood covered head found itself under Morris's chin. Noah wasn't quite hugging him since his hands were in his pockets, he just glued himself to Morris's lean torso.

"Oh boy. Vin, look, could we possibly do this another time-"

Morris heard a scoff and watched with widen eyes as a man from the group left. Just like that. One of the bigger potential clients, too.

He blinked himself to reality and slowly took the lollipop out of his mouth. He threw a look from left to right at all the different expressions and then bent his head down, slipped under Noah's hood, and kissed him.
