"But can you please let them go... I think they learned their lesson."
Talulah asked as she stared at L captive which had been tied and forced to listen to thousands of different songs L had made.
This was the last and latest that he had just given them, all curtailed in a catchy tune that somehow tortured their minds.
"I'm a p-piece of shit, I regret everything." One of them wailed after being denied for hours of relief.
A most foul smell leaked from his pants as he along with others denied of being given the chance to go to the bathroom couldnt hold it in.
A further stab of humiliation to the torture L had put into them.
Their perception have been dilated to make it seem like centuries had passed by.
No man could endure being bound and unable to move, act or even find relief when their body demanded.
Though in actuality things only had passed for no more than five minutes, their minds were too deeply affected by L's torture.
Talulah knew that much, he was not a merciful being nor he was known to be gentle when dealing with intruders.
Though in hindsight people should've heeded the other people that tried and did not leave without suffering what the latest attempt had tried on her.
"That's the 6th time this week, why can't I catch a break." At this point she's used to the attempted assassinations or kidnappings pointed to her.
Hard not to after years of living through it plus L helped a lot and kept her life relatively sane for the most part.
"It hurts! Make it stop! I dont want to hear another sea shanty ever again!" Tallulah pulled her phone and went to call her sister.
As usual it was just another day like any other she had. "L play the next song." She deserve to deliver some payback for the interruption in their date.
"Oooho~ hooooh~."
"Aaaaahhhh!!!" Sucks to be the but she hardly has any sympathies for them at this point.
It was entertainment for her now that she got used to all the things L could do, was it morally questionable?
Yes, but when did that stop her lover to begin with? It's not like he's human and he was bound to follow their morals.
That's not a rule and merely a norm to the people of Terra, it doesn't apply to a higher extra-dimensional eldritch horror from beyond like L.
She does wonder what her lover thinks most of the time in that gargantuan and seemingly vast mind of his.
He can act so normal yet contradicting at the same time, a genuine puzzle that will leave most people with a headache or in literal cases fried heads.
Yes, she had seen people tried and saw their brains fried when they attempted to look into L's mind.
And the old saying of things best left not known fits perfectly when it comes to him.
Because nothing is worth gaining from his mind that won't leave you turned into a deranged lunatic or a madman or a mutilated mess.
The last one was more common than she would admit given it always involve someone trying to kill or kidnap her.
At this point her faith in her people was becoming less and less and wondered if she should let L unleash literal apocalypse to cleanse the stupidity out of them.
But as L would often correct her, 'there are some things universal and stupidity was one of them' sad to say L was right and people suffer for it even when they are given the chance to wisely take up a better choice.
"A tragedy for them, a comedy for me."
