Abilities:
- Energy projection - The ring can be used to fire blasts of Oan energy or create weapons such as projectiles of them
- Flight - The ring allows the user to fly at incredible speeds. In atmosphere, a Green Lantern has been known to fly as fast as Mach 10. Towing others, usually within a bubble, their speed is limited to the twice the speed of sound or 1440 mph. In space, a Green Lantern's speed can be significantly greater and has been known to approach 99% of light speed in normal space.
- Force field - A protective aura that forms around the wearer. An atmosphere appropriate to the ring wielder's biology is created inside the force-field while body temperature is maintained. Gravitational stresses which could cause injury are stabilized for the ring wielder. The user can also choose to grant others this force field at the cost of dividing their attention.
- Energy construct creation - Anything the user imagined, the ring can create as long as they are focused and have the willpower to maintain it. The constructs are made out of bright green energy, which is a tangible form of pure willpower, with the form they take depending on the user's personality and imagination.
- Galactic encyclopaedia - The ring contains knowledge of practically every species in the galaxy
- Limited cellular regeneration - The ring has an ability to heal physical injuries. Green Lantern can use the ring to repair injuries in himself or others.
- Universal translation - The ring is able to translate virtually any
- Thought relay - The ring can create a telepathic link with others
Weaknesses:
- The power of the ring is dependent on the user's willpower. The less will they possess, the weaker their constructs and other abilities will be
- Drug use, neural interference, vertigo or other forms of mental incapacitation can render the wearer unable to use their ring
- The ring must be periodically recharged by touching it to the battery after its power is depleted. While not necessary, the user can recite the oath while they charge it. Some believe it speeds up the process. The ring will be unable to be used until it is recharged
