"Artemis Kom Skaikru." I hear and turn. "Keran Kom... Trikru." I say pausing when I forget the words. He chuckles at me. "We will work on that. I wanted to talk about your training." He tells me. "Training?" Marcus asks. "He's training me to fight like the grounders." I say with a grin. "I want to not only train you as a warrior, but as my second." He tells me. "Is that something more than just a warrior?" I ask him and he nods. "I will tell you what it means when we train tomorrow." He tells me and I nod. "Get back to your people." He says heading into the trees.

"She's back! And Kane is with her!" I hear one of the guards yelling. "Open the gate!" I call out, heading inside as we do. "Shut the gate." I tell them once we're in. "Clarke. Get Finn inside for now. Go." I tell her and she nods, tugging the boy inside when he tries to argue. "What did she say?" Octavia asks me. "Is there a chance for a truce?" Abby asks next. "Yes. There is." I tell them. "What happened?" Nate asks, a knowing look on his face.

"She wants Finn." I tell them and see Raven frown. "If we want a truce, we have to give them Finn." I tell them. "That's a punishment." Abby states. "It's to repay what happened at the village. Blood for blood." I explain to them. "That's insane. What if we refuse?" Raven asks me. "They attack." I answer simply. "She didn't give us long. And... we're not the only ones losing somebody." I say and a lot of people look confused.

Raven, Octavia, Nate, Bellamy, and Marcus have knowing looks. "What does that mean?" Millers dad asks. "We give them Finn. And three of her people are being executed as well." I tell them. The ones who knew what I meant smiled. "I wanna hug you so bad. Arty I'm so proud of you." Raven grins at me. "High-five?" I offer and she laughs slapping her hand to mine. "Arty, I'm proud of you too. That couldn't have been easy. Honestly, if you didn't, one of us would have." Octavia tells me with a smile. "Oh it wasn't." I say and they laugh.

"Someone needs to go tell Finn and Clarke. And I'm still pissed at Finn so it's not me." I say and Bellamy heads inside after fist bumping me giving me a proud smile. "Tavi, time to introduce me to your boyfriend." I tease her and she blushes as we head inside. We walk into the room he's in seeing him strapped down. "Hey. He's not a reaper anymore. I may not know the guy, but he doesn't need these." I call out. "Yes, I do." He answers.

"So, you're Lincoln." I say squeezing Murphy's hand in mine. "You must be Artemis. Octavia has told me a lot about you." He tells me. "Tavi I knew you liked me." I grin at her and she rolls her eyes. "Figured it was time we finally met. Keran and Mira told me a bit about you as well." I tell him. "How are they?" He asks me. "Good. Mira is protective as ever. Keran offered to train me, not just as a warrior. As his second." I say still confused as to what that meant. 

Shock spreads on Lincolns face at that. "What? Is that a bad thing?" I ask worried now. "No. Training someone as your second is a good thing for my people. Like Heda has a second, it is a mentor to train and pass down knowledge, respect, and trust. Not only that, it instills discipline and a deeper connection to our way of life." He explains to me. "Woah... so it's kind of a big deal." I say and he nods. "Especially for Keran." He tells me.
