The battle had finally ended. The Pei siblings, Wen Xiao, Ying Lei, and Mo Yun, along with the dragons, had put down the demon rebellion. But there had been losses.
Rong Yuebai, the leader of the Fox Clan, was injured and had disappeared. No one knew where he was.
Ye Yun, the Demon King, had taken the antidote, but the poison had been in his body for too long. It weakened him, and he collapsed. Bai Jiu was doing everything he could to heal him.
Lilun took charge, making sure everything was under control. Ye Ruyan, who had been severely injured, had lost her mind. Lilun ordered her to be locked up until the Demon King woke up and decided her fate.
Meanwhile, Little Snake remained unconscious. The Agni power had consumed the last of his seal, causing it to break. His body had already been struggling to contain its power, but the combination of the Agni Flower and the three Dragon Heart Gems had overwhelmed him. The sudden surge of energy had made his body unstable.
The Dragon King had no choice. He placed a hand on Little Snake's chest and carefully extracted the Agni Flower. The moment it left his body, the golden flames flared up before vanishing into nothing. To prevent future conflicts, the Dragon King crushed the flower, destroying it completely.

Little Snake slowly opened his eyes. He stared at the ceiling for a moment before turning his head toward a voice.
"Little one." the Dragon King said, smiling at him. He sat beside the bed and took Little Snake’s hand. "How are you feeling?"
Little Snake tried to sit up, and the Dragon King quickly helped him. "My whole body feels stiff… but..." He looked at the Dragon King. "Who are you?"
The Dragon King blinked in surprise. "What?" He let out a small, nervous laugh. "Little one, it’s me." He held Little Snake’s shoulders gently. "Don’t you recognize me?"
Little Snake shook his head. The Dragon King stared into his eyes, his hands trembling as he cupped Little Snake’s face. "Look at me carefully." he said, his voice full of fear. "It’s me!"
Suddenly, Little Snake burst out laughing. "Old Dragon! You should have seen your face!"
The Dragon King’s eyes widened before his expression changed. "Little one!" His voice was a mix of relief, anger, and frustration. "You scared me to death!" His voice trembled as he mumbled, hugging Little Snake tightly.
"I was just joking." Little Snake said, hugging him back and patting his back.
The Dragon King held him even tighter. "I got really scared." he whispered, his voice still shaking.
"Old Dragon." Little Snake said, worried. "Are you crying? I’m sorry… I was just joking."
The Dragon King didn’t answer. He just held Little Snake tightly, his hands gripping the back of his robe as if afraid to let go.
Little Snake sighed softly and patted his back again. "Come on, Old Dragon. I’m totally fine."
The Dragon King finally pulled away, his eyes red. Little Snake wiped his tears with his sleeve. "I'm sorry, I didn’t think it through."
"You were asleep for a week, I was really scared."
Little Snake’s eyes widened. "A week?" He looked down at his hands, clenching and unclenching them. His body did feel stiff, like he hadn’t moved in a long time.
The Dragon King gently caressed Little Snake’s face. "How are you feeling? Any difference?"
Little Snake shook his head. "I'm fine, really. I feel quite comfortable."
