Now let the story begin.

Early in the morning, Kirumi is in the dorm room of her boyfriend [Y/N] [L/N] helping him pack as he prepares to leave for Cat Con, a weekend long convention held for diehard cat lovers.

Kirumi : Alright dear, everything you'll need is packed away neatly in your suitcase.

[Y/N] : Thanks Kirumi, I appreciate your help. I'm terrible at packing.

He says to his girlfriend, who smiles softly.

Kirumi : You're very welcome. I know how excited you've been for this convention, so I was more than happy to help you pack. I hope you have an amazing time [Y/N], but please be sure to call me when you get to the hotel.

[Y/N] : I will, and I'm gonna miss you while I'm gone.

Just then, his pet fluffy black cat named [C/N] trots over and begins rubbing up against his owner's leg affectionately, causing him to chuckle.

[Y/N] : And I'll miss you too buddy. Kirumi will take great care of you for the weekend.

Kirumi : Well, I'll certainly try dear, although we both know [C/N] has never been very fond of me.

She says with a frown appearing on her face.

[Y/N] : I know, but this may be the perfect opportunity to change that. I don't understand why [C/N] is the way he is with you, but you're my girlfriend, so he needs to learn to get along with you.

Kirumi : I'd certainly like that, but I have my doubts. Perhaps Ryoma would be the better pick to care for [C/N] given how much he loves cats?

[Y/N] : Sorry babe, Ryoma's going to Cat Con with me, and you're the only other person I trust with [C/N]. Now, I gotta get to the train station. I love you Kirumi.

Kirumi : I love you too dear.

The two kiss before [Y/N] exits the room with his suitcase, leaving Kirumi and [C/N] alone.

Kirumi : Alright [C/N], by the time [Y/N] returns in two days, I will have befriended you.

The plump black cat simply looks up at her before jumping on the chair near [Y/N]'s desk and begins kneading it.

Kirumi : [C/N]! Stop that! [Y/N] doesn't like you doing that!

She is ignored as the fluffy feline continues kneading the chair, causing some of its fabric to rip.

Kirumi : Why do you never listen to me?

The Ultimate Maid sighs in frustration before picking up the cat and gently placing him on the bed.

Kirumi : There. Now please behave yourself [C/N].

A few seconds later, [C/N] jumps down and makes his way back to the chair, staring right at his owner's girlfriend before kneading again.

Kirumi : You enjoy messing with me don't you?

She asks her boyfriend's cat rhetorically before letting out a sigh.

Kirumi : I can already tell that this is going to be a long weekend.

A few hours later, Kirumi just got done feeding [C/N] before receiving a call from [Y/N].

[Y/N] : Hey babe! Ryoma and I just checked into the hotel. How are you and [C/N] doing?

Kirumi : Unfortunately, he ripped up your chair a little, as well as knocking a few items off your desk, which I have a feeling was done out of spite.

[Y/N] : That wouldn't surprise me. [C/N] hates when I'm not there with him.

Kirumi : Yes, you have a special bond with your cat.

[Y/N] : Uh-huh, he's the second most important thing in the world to me, with you being number one, but do not tell him I said that. It would hurt his feelings.

While blushing slightly from her boyfriend's words, Kirumi can't help but giggle at that last part.

Kirumi : My lips are sealed. After all, the last thing I want is for him to dislike me even more.

[Y/N] : Just give it some time babe. [C/N] will come around to you eventually.

Kirumi : I hope so dear. I love you.

[Y/N] : Love you too Kirumi.

He hangs up as the Ultimate Maid turns to [C/N], who is lying comfortably on the bed, which she can't help but find quite cute.

Kirumi : You can be adorable when you're not misbehaving. I just wish you'd like me.

She says to him as he just looks at her with his wide yellow-green eyes.

Kirumi : [C/N], I love your owner very much, and I know you do as well. It would make him extremely happy if we could get along, do you think you can do that...for him?

Despite feeling ridiculous for talking to a cat, Kirumi is shocked when [C/T] jumps off the bed and begins rubbing against her leg like he does with [Y/N].

Kirumi : Y-you've never done this before. Does this mean you actually want to get along now?

As if answering her, [C/N] meows and continues rubbing up against her, making Kirumi smile.

Kirumi : I'll take that as a yes.

Timeskip

It's now Sunday evening, and [Y/N] has returned from Cat Con.

[Y/N] : I'm back babe! How have things been with-

He enters his dorm and is surprised to see Kirumi sitting on the bed with [C/N] sleeping in her lap.

[Y/N] : Well, ain't this a beautiful sight.

He says with a smile as his girlfriend nods while gently petting [C/N].

Kirumi : Yes, we've finally bonded.

[Y/N] : I knew you would. I love you Kirumi.

Kirumi : I love you too [Y/N], and welcome back.

She kisses her boyfriend as [C/N] continues sleeping, making her happy at how well cat-sitting has turned out.
