Kevin

I walked into Max's room making sure I don't wake him up. Once I reach his bed, I scream happy birthday and he quickly sits up in shock. Max rubs his eyes and looks up at me.

"Happy birthday son" I say with a smile. I had a cupcake in one hand and an envelope in the other.

"Make a wish" Max smiles and blows out the candle I had on the cupcake. I give him a kiss and hand him the cupcake I know he is dying to eat.

"This is awesome sugar mama never lets me have dessert for breakfast," he said with his mouth full of cupcake.

"What did you say?" not hearing him right. He licks his lips and shakes his head "Nothing. What's that?" he asks looking at the envelope.

"Oh, here you go" he takes the envelope and rips it open "Hey take it easy" once he sees what it is e quickly screams and jumps on me.

"I'm going to Sea World!" he yells hugging me tightly.

"Yes" I answer with a laugh. Max lets go and jumps on the bed.

"I can't believe I'm going to Sea World" I started to notice that Max also likes sea animals. So I thought it would be nice to take a trip to Sea World and also get away from the snow for a while.

"Thank you dad" he said when he got tired of jumping.

"No problem son now let's hurry up and get you ready. We have  lots to do before your friends come"

"Ok" he says getting out of bed.  I send two maids to look after Max while I go check on the details for his party. At first, I was against him having a party. I thought a nice small dinner with family would be nice, but after all the craziness that has been happening, I think both Max and I deserve a day to be happy and celebrate. My mother was so excited to throw Max a party and she said she wanted to be the one to plan it. I felt uneasy about that, but I gave her a chance. Hopefully, if all goes well.

When I told Max that grandma is planning the party he did seem to happy about it at first. He said he doesn't care as long as its a fun party for his friends and there are clowns. I tried my best to convince him not to get a clown, but he wouldn't have it. I don't know when he started to like clowns and why he wanted one so badly. I told my mother about this and she flipped out saying clowns are for babies and they are tacky. I had to remind her this is a kid's party, not the Oscars.

I walked into the living room to see it decorated with a baseball them. I walked towards the table of food and everything was in baseball or baseball bat shape. The cakes looked awesome. It is a huge baseball shape cake. With two small baseball bats and Max's name in the middle.  She even brought in a photographer.
