GingerBrave clenched his fists. "Burnt Cheese Cookie is sleeping in his Soulcheese...! This—this is beyond wicked, Shadow Milk Cookie!!!"

They battled once more, pushing their limits, exhaustion weighing on them. Finally, they won.

GingerBrave collapsed to one knee, breathless. "I... I'm too tired to stand...! Even the Ancient Heroes...!"

Wizard Cookie steadied himself. "We're almost done... Pure Vanilla Cookie is in the Spire, which means...!"

From the abyss, a final figure emerged—Dark Enchantress Cookie. Yet her form was grotesquely altered. Puppet-like and fractured, with eerie remnants of White Lily Cookie fused into her being.

"You know nothing of the world's true nature!" her voice boomed.

Strawberry Cookie trembled. "D-DARK ENCHANTRESS COOKIE?!"

Wizard Cookie muttered, "Reader would make a joke about that line alone..."

GingerBrave found his resolve, forcing himself to stand. "What do you know! I've still got some strength left!"

Meanwhile, back in the darkness, Shadow Milk Cookie pouted dramatically. "Awwww, why...! I wanted to see the drama, the despair, the anger...!"

Truthless Recluse remained unreadable. "Those Cookies are not easily fooled. The greater the odds, the more determined they become. Just like THEY..."

"Yes, yes, how sweet! Is that why you love them so much? Can't blame you for Reader Cookie—THEY ARE PERFECT!"

Truthless Recluse fell silent.

Suddenly, GingerBrave's voice rang out from the board.

"...Cookie! Pure Vanilla Cookie, can you hear us?!"

Truthless Recluse stiffened.

"Wait for us! We'll be back soon! We need to talk! We're not giving up! Never! So don't you give up, either! Just like Reader Cookie never gave up on you!"

Shadow Milk Cookie grinned darkly and thought. 'Resonating again, aren't we? Well then... it's time for some drastic measures. My dear, you're going to love what I have in store for you... with a special guest of MINE.'

Then, the slow clap of gloved hands echoed through the dimly lit hall.

From the darkness, Shadow Milk Cookie emerged, his grin wide and eyes glimmering with amusement. "Noooo way! Would you look at that! Bravo! To think my most meticulously crafted game was too easy for you...!"

GingerBrave he scratched his head. "Whoa, it wasn't easy! But it wasn't too hard either!"

Shadow Milk Cookie's laughter bubbled up, rich and theatrical. "All hail the great heroes! Really, I applaud you! Not sure if the world is ready for the overwhelming power of your friendship!"
