Season 2

Episode 6-7:
Fog of War- Long Into an Abyss

Artemis POV

I hate acid fog. With a passion. I want to drag those mountain idiots out here and let them suffer in it at this point. Stupid people. I sat in my tent with Murphy, Raven right next to us in one with Abby. "Arty I found something else." Raven calls. "What is it?" I ask her. "There's talking on the radio. It's really garbbled. Once I crack the encryption, we can listen in on the mountain." She tells me.

"Raven that's awesome news! Just, try and do what you can here. We have plenty of time." I tell her. "Of course I will. I'll tell you if I get it worked out." She tells me. I lay down next to Murphy and drop my head on his chest. We lay there for a while, just quiet. It was nice to get moments like these. They didn't come often. "Arty. I got it." Raven calls and I turn my head.

"What do you hear?" I call back. "They're talking about the fog. They call it a veil. They say it's at 90 percent coverage. Someones telling them to hit us again when we pop up." She tells me. I sit up when Abby tells one of the other men to take out the tower when the fog lifts. "No." I call louder. "Arty." Abby starts. "Abby. We're listening to the enemy. We take out that tower, we'll be fucked." I tell her.

"Don't blow it and we won't make contact with other ark survivors." She argues back. "We're not doing it. I get it, we need people. But 47 of MY PEOPLE, are in that fucking mountain. DO NOT blow the tower." I snap at them. "Copy." I hear the man reply and lay back down. After waiting what felt like days, the fog was gone. Clarke and Finn reappear from their disappearing act. "Where's the others?" Clarke asks me.

"They were looking for another way in. No doubt they found a place to hunker down, or used the tents." I tell her and she nods. "Artemis." I hear and turn seeing Mira coming over. "Mira?" I call curiously and walk over. "Your siblings sent me. They said to meet them at the dropship. And bring Clarke." She tells me. "What happened?" I ask worried. "They found Lincoln. But he is... not himself." She says and I raise a brow.

"Mira, what happened?" I ask her. "Lincoln was turned into a reaper. They are hoping Clarke will find a way to turn him back." She tells me. "Alright. We'll get there as soon as we can. And tell your brother I want my training already." I say and she smiles nodding before leaving.

After a long walk back home with the new trick of listening to them, we made it back. As I unpacked the few things I took in the tent I heard yelling out front. I go over with Murphy and see Jaha. "You've gotta be fucking kidding me." I mutter as we move closer. "I have a message... leave or die. We have two days." He tells us. "Where is Marcus?" I ask and he turns to me. "Artemis..." Jaha says staring at me. "Where the fuck is he?!" I snap at him.

"He's still there. They only let me go to send a message." He replies. "I'm not leaving without Marcus." I say shaking my head furiously. "Artemis now is not the time to argue." Abby tells me. "Abby just shut the hell up! He's the only parental figure I have! He may not be my dad by blood, but he is in every other way! I'm not leaving without him!" I yell at her. Jaha watched shocked as I yell at her.

"You can run if you want to! But until Marcus Kane is back in this camp, I'm not going anywhere!" I yell at her. "I'm with her." I hear Nate and Octavia behind me. I turn as they join my sides. "I was trying to get to you guys." I tell my sister who nods. "I'm staying with my Goddess." Murphy speaks grabbing my hand in his. "So am I." Clarke and Finn speak. Others chimed in stating they would also stay, and Abby looked out off by that.

"Abby this isn't the Ark. There is no council who hides choices until the last second. Down here? Everyone knows what's going on. Everyone has a choice. We may be one people together, but we're still individual people apart. We all have a voice." I state. She looks resigned to the fact that more than 75% of the camp agreed with me. "Our kids are still out there. We aren't going anywhere." Millers dad says, speaking for the parents with kids in the mountain.

"Fine. I guess we're staying." Abby says walking off. Jaha looks shocked and starts to spew his crap about leaving while we have time. Taking it on faith, whatever that means. I step forward and Murphy eyes me. I rear my hand back and punch the man. There's gasps and the few 100 that are here cheer. "Drop your holier than thou bullshit. It doesn't work like that here." I snap at him. "You know how many of the remaining 100 will be mad when they get out of the mountain and hear you punched him?" Murphy asks with a grin.

"But they'll also say he deserved it. All of us wanted to hit him." I shrug with a smirk. "Alright. You two, lead the way. Clarke you're with us. Finn.... Do something." I say walking off. "What about me?" Murphy asks with a smirk. "We all know you're going to follow her." Octavia says walking off to the gate. "We'll be back in a bit Mister M!" I call and he nods waving them to open the gate.

We head out and we walk through the trees, back into the dropship camp. I see the corpses that were burned still littering the ground and grimace. "I can see why they hate us right now." I mutter to myself. I climb the ladder up to the top and see a man chained to the walls. "This is Lincoln?" I ask stepping back when he thrashes.

"This isn't him. The mountain turned him into a reaper. Clarke, is there anything we can do?" Octavia asks, her eyes full of tears. I grab her hand lightly and she sends me a thankful look. "What happened to his leg?" Clarke asks as they shine a light on him. "I shot him." Octavia mutters. The man growls and I watch cautiously. "Can you shine the light on his neck?" She asks.

Bellamy shifts the light and she eyes his neck. "Needle marks." She tells us. "You think he's been drugged?" I ask her. "Maybe." She tells me. The chains holding him in place snap and I back up quickly. "Lincoln!" Octavia yells. Murphy blocks me quickly as they try to fight him down again. Octavia ends up hitting him over the head with something and they restrain him again.

"If we're finding a way to help him? It needs to be fast."
