I was wrong once
My insecurities killed the sight of beauty you saw in me
I'd like to apologize but my tongue is thick with the lies I've managed to wrap myself in once again
I knew I'd bring us crashing
I had slight hope but it burnt out in the seconds after you said you'd love me
I didn't comprehend what it was that you thought you saw in me
What the words would actually mean for me
It sounded dangerous
I couldn't let it keep happening to me.
