The alpha cop cleared his throat and squared his shoulder. "Sir." He bowed. "We received a call from the Kims, informing us about a potential scam. Upon further investigation, we found the student in question had three black cards in his possession. The student is a 21-years-old regular omega, who has no means for such wealth and those cards didn't belong to him. So we decided to arrest him and bring him to the station for further investigation." He took a deep breath. "We were only doing our duty but we were attacked, threatened by these powerful individuals and the accused was taken away from our hands."

Jimin growled in his throat and Taehyung put a hand on his arm, stopping him from saying something.

"Did you verify how this student in question came to possess these black cards?" the captain asked.

"We did," the alpha cop answered honestly. "He had no clear explanation and even threatened us with legal action, claiming the cards belonged to him. We only followed the protocol."

The captain scoffed. "Yeah, you followed the protocol? Then can you explain why you're in charge of this investigation when the accused is a regular omega?" he shot at him. "As per the protocol, you should have requested for the other team to take over or you should have handed him to the nearest precinct if you had deemed the situation was dangerous. You did neither."

"W-We didn't have time," the alpha cop stuttered. "We had to remove him from the premises as fast as possible."

"And take him where?" the captain asked. "We checked the traffic cameras on your way here. You crossed two regular wolf precincts on the way and were bringing him directly to the headquarters. I've been recently informed of the shady things that's happening here without my knowledge. What was your plan?"

The alpha cop's eyes widened and he swallowed. The other two looked equally terrified, but said nothing.

"Did you even verify his statement? We also received the hospital footage. The team we sent there has confirmed that you didn't allow that student to even speak and confiscated his phone when he tried to prove his innocence."

"T-That's not true. He could have called for a backup and we weren't equipped to handle that kind of threat," the alpha cop replied. He was sweating profusely and shifted from one foot to the other.

This made the captain laugh. He sat back and stared at him. "Officer Lim, you claimed that the student could no way afford to have these black cards or means for it only moments ago. And now you say that he could have called for a back up?"

Lim, the alpha cop cleared his throat again. "Sir, we assumed he's a thief for possessing not one but three black cards that belonged to different individuals." He produced the cards and the phone from his pocket, putting it on the table. "It raises the alarm."

"Stop lying, Mr. Lim," Jimin growled. "You assumed Jungkook was offering some other services for monetary rewards to possess those cards. You and your team have taunted him about the scents he was carrying on his body and this female officer specifically wondered about his relationship with Taehyung. He has told me everything on the way. I'll never tolerate such disrespect toward my omega." His chest heaved and his jaw clenched.

"It's appalling that your team would arrest my client without a proper investigation just because of his social status," Attorney Kim stated. "They did not have a warrant and did not fulfill any protocol that has to be followed when the alleged accused is a regular omega, considering your team comprises purebred officers with one biased beta. Jungkook has no previous offenses and he's a law abiding citizen. No one cared to call the Park family or Taehyung to verify if their cards were stolen or gifted. They just assumed my client was guilty because he was a regular omega and a student."
