The plane landed a few hours later, Owen shook maddie awake.

"Hey, wake up." He gently shook the girl. "We're here." Madelyn slowly woke up.

"Charlie." She shook her boyfriend awake. "Charlie!" Madelyn hit his arm. "Oh my god. Charlie!" She hit him with her bag.

"Ow!" He winced. "Must you always hit me?"

"Let's go." She urged.

They all climbed out of the plane. Madelyn froze; taking in her surroundings. She had lived here for two years. She never thought she'd be back, but here she was. Standing in the middle of the park brought back a million memories- some good; most bad.

"You okay?" Charlie asked.

"Yeah." Maddie said softly. She nodded.

"Okay." Charlie didn't believe her, but didn't want to push. He walked away, looking at the amazing view of the mountain - well, volcano.

Claire walked over to Madelyn, stopping right next to her. She studied the girls face. She saw all of the memories flooding behind her eyes.

"Welcome home." Claire sighed.

"Yeah." Madelyn whispered. Claire walked away, greeting the mission director. Madelyn stood still. She couldn't make herself move. She didn't know why or how, but she was frozen. This place had been a prison for her - a fun prison at that. She had the scariest night of her life on this island. This place also housed some of the deadliest creatures to ever walk the earth.

"You good?" Owen placed his hand on her shoulder. Madelyn nodded. "It's okay if you're not. The last time you were here, you were fighting for your life." Owen nodded. He smiled comfortingly.

"I never thought I'd be back." Madelyn said softly.

"I know. I know." Owen sighed. "It'll be fine." He pat her shoulder. Madelyn turned around quickly. She wrapped her arms around Owen's waist, hugging him tight. He pulled the girl in closer.

"I missed you." Madelyn sniffed. "And I'm so scared." She cried into his chest.

"Hey, shh. It's okay. It's okay!" Owen held the girls head, fiddling with her hair. Madelyn pulled away, wiping her tears. "It's okay." Owen cupped the girl face, with his hands. "You okay?" Madelyn nodded.

"Yeah." Madelyn fixed her hair. She turned to face the rest of the group. She walked towards her boyfriend. He threw his arm around her shoulders. She rested her head against him. Owen smiled as he watched the two teens. He was glad Maddie had found a boy as nice as him - even if he did threaten to gut the guy.

"Have you been crying?" Charlie asked his girlfriend. She shook her head.

"I'm fine."

"That doesn't answer my question. Have you been crying?" He asked again. Maddie nodded sadly. "Oh, come here." Charlie pulled the girl into a hug. She sobbed into his arms.

"I thought I was ready to come back." She whispered.

"I know you did." Charlie rubbed the girls head. "It's okay. It'll be fine." He picked the girl up, into his arms. She wrapped her legs around his waist, clinging onto him as they walked. They stopped when they reached a truck. They all climbed into the truck. They drove for a while, before Zia noticed a dinosaur. The truck slammed to a stop. Everyone climbed out.

"I never thought I'd see one in real life." Zia gasped as a massive dinosaur strolled past.

"Wow." Madelyn sighed.

"Holy shit." Charlie's jaw dropped. He pulled his girlfriend closer to him. He squeezed her tight.

"It's okay." Madelyn pat his chest. "She won't hurt us." Charlie's grip loosened. A feeling of relief washed over him.

"She's beautiful." Charlie gasped.

"Isn't she." Madelyn smiled.
