(A/N): Another small chapter for you all, as compensation of not able to post for 15 days.

Kiara's POV:

" What the fuck! Leave me!" I tried to get out of his hold but whom was I kidding?

He tucked me into his bed.

" Sleep princess."

I rolled my eyes.

" You are never leaving that habit of yours, right?"

" Nope."

He sighed.

" Good night." He kissed my forehead and went.

I don't why but his bed was way too comfortable and in an instant, I was able to doze off.

The next day, I woke up and went back to my room.

Both Aira and Antonio were still sleeping.

I freshen up and changed up clothes and still both of them were sleeping while cuddling.

A smile formed on my lips seeing them like this.

I shook my head and went down.

" Good morning."

I looked to see Alessandro drinking something while sitting on the counter.

" Good morning." I replied him because I was neutral towards Alessandro, he never said anything bad to me or did I atleast he was the one who ever tried to talk to me and also fought for me.

" Want coffee? I made for you too."

I nodded while sitting on the counter and took the cup next to him.

I sipped the coffee and it tasted amazing, to be honest.

" Thanks for the coffee." He smiled and we sat in silence while sipping coffee.

" Don't take Lorenzo in wrong sense, he just cares for you." I looked at him.

" How did he came?"

" I know what happened yesterday."

I nodded.

" I know you must be thinking all of us as your culprit, who ruined your childhood but there is more to it, I don't know if you will understand it or not. I know many things happened to you, which gave you scars too but due to them you are what you are, strong, capable, independent, fierce, witty, smart, and what not. I didn't meant that the process was something which should have happened and if any of us could change it, trust me, we would have but we couldn't and what have happened have happened, we can't change it but due to it, you became Leonessa, not Kiara DeLuca, you have your own name and I am very glad to see it. Unlike any other women of any mafia family, in the times of trouble, you very calmly address the solution instead of freaking and trying to hide. I am proud of you." He kissed my forehead.

Something inside me happened and it felt like my heart was flying due to happiness.

Maybe this was all I yearned, praise from someone, due to this, I remembered dad's words.

I hugged Alessandro and he hugged me too.

Suddenly we heard someone clearing their throats and we pulled and looked at the owner of the voice.

Lorenzo, who was glaring at both of us.

" If you both are done, we all are sitting on the dining table."

" So are you gonna stand after we come."

He glared at me and I rolled my eyes.

" Kaira." He said in a warning tone.

" Lorenzo." I said with a cheeky smile, he shook his head.

I sat beside Alessandro only.

" The entire family will be coming today."

I looked at him.

" Are you serious?"

" Do I look like I am joking?"
