Kaizer's breath was hot against her skin, his lips grazing the sensitive spot just below her ear.

Ysabel shivered.

Her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer-as if she needed more.

Kaizer didn't hesitate.

His hands roamed over her waist, fingertips pressing into her skin as if grounding himself. He kissed her again-slow and deep, taking his time to memorize the way she tasted, the way she gasped softly into his mouth.

A shudder ran through Ysabel as she felt the weight of him against her, his warmth seeping into her very bones.

She had never felt like this before.

This wasn't just childhood friendship. This wasn't the playful teasing or innocent bickering they had always known.

This was something more.

Something dangerous.

Kaizer must have felt it too, because when he pulled back, his gaze was burning.

"Ysabel," he murmured, his voice rough. "Tell me to stop."

She knew she should.

She knew that if they crossed this line, nothing would ever be the same.

But instead of pushing him away-

Ysabel reached up, fingers brushing along his jaw, then his lips.

And with a quiet, shaky breath, she whispered-

"Don't stop."

Kaizer broke.

His lips crashed onto hers once again, this time hungry and demanding. His hands explored her body with reverence, as if she was something precious-something he had wanted for far too long but had never dared to claim.

Ysabel moaned softly against his lips, her own body betraying her.

Every touch, every kiss, every heated whisper between them blurred the lines they had drawn over the years.

Their skin pressed together, feverish and desperate-as if they were trying to merge into one.

Kaizer groaned, burying his face into the crook of her neck, his breath shaky, uneven.

He wasn't just touching her.

He was memorizing her.

Ysabel gasped as his lips traced down her collarbone, lingering-hesitating.

For a fleeting second, he stopped.

As if giving her one last chance to pull away.

But she didn't.

Instead, she pulled him closer.

And in that moment, under the dim glow of the bedroom light, the line between friendship and something far more dangerous disappeared completely.

Kaizer woke up earlier than usual.

The soft glow of the morning sun peeked through the curtains, casting a warm light over Ysabel's sleeping form.

She looked peaceful, her breathing steady, her hair slightly messy from the night before.

Kaizer sighed, rubbing the back of his neck.

Last night... he got carried away.

He knew she was sore-he could tell just by the way she unconsciously shifted in her sleep.

"Idiot," he muttered to himself, shaking his head.

Quietly, he slid out of bed, grabbing his clothes off the floor before heading to the kitchen.
