The Hydra base shuddered as an explosion tore through the reinforced steel walls. Alarms blared, red lights casting the cold, sterile corridors in a crimson haze. Scientists and guards scrambled, shoving equipment and data drives into bags, fear etched into every face.
"They're here!" someone yelled. "Get going!"
In a dark, cavernous lab at the base's core, frost coated the walls and floor around a massive cryo-chamber. Inside, a monstrous black wolf lay still, its body marred by cracks along the cryo glass from a recent quake caused by the battle above. The wolf's fur was a deep, endless black, absorbing the surrounding light, while its closed eyes glowed faintly with an icy blue hue beneath the lids. Even in slumber, Fenrir was terrifying.

"Stabilize her!" barked a senior officer. "If she wakes up-"
The ceiling above groaned. Seconds later, metal twisted and collapsed as Bucky, the former winter solider, dropped through, rifle ready. His metal arm gleamed under the flashing lights, face set in grim determination. Behind him, Natasha Romanoff and Sam Wilson rappelled down.
