How To Lose Her In 7 days

Day 7.1

My hands were sweating as I walked toward the door. This is the seventh and final day of my one-week date with CJ, so I've decided to make it memorable.

I just received a message from her that she's outside already, kaya naglakad na ako papunta sa pintuan.

I planned my outfit last night at kung hindi pa ma-turn off si CJ dito ay ewan ko na lang talaga.

Huminga muna ako nang malalim before I turn the doorknob at pagbukas na pagbukas ko ay nakita ko siya agad.

She's leaning against her Aston Martin DB12, wearing a yellow and black racing jacket over a white crop top, denim pants, leather boots, and sunglasses. It's just a casual look, but her appeal is still overflowing. No wonder she's been the highest-paid model in the world for years.

Alright, Loraine, enough.

Huminga muna ulit ako nang malalim before I cleared my throat to get her attention.

CJ quickly stood up straight and looked in my direction. Hinubad pa nito ang suot na sunglasses at unti-unting lumawak ang ngiti.

"You look so cute!"

I was expecting her to laugh at me for wearing this ridiculous hotdog sandwich costume, but if I were to describe her reaction right now—mukhang cute na cute pa ito sa 'kin.

"Oh, c'mon, CJ. Aren't you supposed to laugh at me?" Hindi ko na napigilang sabihin because that's the normal reaction.

"Why would I? You look so adorable in that costume, and honestly, I'm kinda envious 'cause I haven't worn anything like that yet."

Sandali ko pa siyang tinitigan pero wala talaga akong makita sa mga mata at expression niya na nagsisinungaling ito.

How can she always be so sincere?

Dahil wala na akong ibang maisip na i-sagot ay niyaya ko na lang itong umalis. Sa museum ko siya niyayang pumunta and she agreed immediately. Hindi ko tuloy alam kung pinagbibigyan niya lang ako o nagkakasundo talaga kami sa maraming bagay.

"Akala ko sa museum tayo?" Taka kong tanong nang pumasok kami sa parking lot ng isang mall.

"I need to buy something first. Okay lang ba?" Tumingin siya sa 'kin at ngumiti. Ilang segundo pa itong tumagal hanggang sa huminga siya nang malalim at nag-iwas ng tingin. "Gosh, you're so cute that I want to kiss you!"

Napakurap ako nang ilang beses hanggang sa nag-iwas na lang din ako ng tingin dahil biglang nag-init ang mukha ko.

"T-Tara na." Sabi ko na lang din at mabilis na bumaba ng kotse.

I just followed CJ into the mall, and even though I had braced myself for the stares and whispers, a wave of intense embarrassment still washed over me.

"Heads up, my adorable sandwich. You can hold my arm if you like."

CJ was smiling at me when I looked up. It was comforting kaya hindi ko na pinigilan ang sarili ko na humawak sa braso niya.

"We're here." Sabi niya pagkatapos naming pumasok ng department store.

"Yes, ma'am? Do you need something?" Asked the saleslady who quickly approached us. She glanced at me for a moment and suddenly smiled, as if trying to hold back a laugh.

I can't blame her kaya hindi ko na lang ito pinansin.

I let the two of them talk at nagpaiwan na lang din ako para maka-upo sa malapit na chair. I got tired of walking and I also don't want to get more attention.

A few minutes had passed when I saw a tall figure walking toward me.

Hindi ako agad naka-react, and I'm pretty sure my mouth was hanging open as I stared straight at the woman now wearing a taco costume.
