Episode 2-3:
Reapercussions-Many Happy Returns

Walking was a quiet affair. Mira asked me random questions, which started a game between the two of us as we got to know each other. I was glad the girl had made it her mission to save me and befriend me. "Which way now?" Bellamy calls from ahead of us. "To the right." Mira answers before turning back to me. "So what did you get arrested for? That's what you called it?" She asks and I chuckle nodding.

"On the Ark, it was illegal to have more than one kid. Bellamy is my older brother. And I also have a twin sister. Me and her were illegal children. One night, Bellamy snuck us out to a party. We got caught, and in the process of being found out, I attacked a guard." I explain and she smiles. "I like you more and more with each question." She says as Murphy joins my side. "Hey. I befriended her first." He says with a grin.

"You may have befriended her, but you're more than her friend." Mira says bluntly and I blush. "Besides the point. I had her first." He huffs and I smile. "You're fine Murphy. You're my favorite guy... don't tell Bellamy or Marcus that." I grin at him as I slip my hand into his. He chuckles softly kissing the top of my head. "Of course not. Let them live obliviously." He jokes back. 

Keran appears from the trees making the others reach for their weapons before stopping. "I did not see them there. I searched everywhere they could be." He tells us. "Are you sure?" Finn asks and I roll my eyes. "Finn he wouldn't lie to us. He didn't save my life to lead us into a trap." I say and he rolls his eyes back. "So now you trust grounders? After what they did to you?" He asks.

I tense up as Bellamy looks lost. "Finn shut up." I snap at him. "What? Not ready to talk to anyone else about it besides Murphy or Marcus Kane?" He asks back, his eyes wide and manic. "Arty... what's he talking about?" Bellamy asks me. "Mind your god damn business Finn. This has nothing to do with you!" I say ignoring Bellamy for now. 

"Arty you were assaulted! And everyone's fucking clueless! How are any of us supposed to help you when we're clueless?!" He snaps at me, flinging his arms around. Murphy surges forward, bounding at Finn punching him. I couldn't bring myself to care though. My eyes glued themselves to a tree. I could feel the tears on my cheeks already. 

"Arty..." I blink furiously hearing Bellamy's voice. His voice cracked when he said my name. "Artemis?" Mira says gently from my side. I flinch, forgetting how close she was, as my head snaps to her and she looks sad for me. "Your brother has been calling your name." She tells me. My gaze flits to Bellamy before I can stop myself. He looks... I don't know if there's words for the look on his face.

"Arty. Tell me he's wrong. Please?" He pleads quietly. "What do you want me to say Bell?" I choke out the words, my throat feeling tight. "Want me to lie to you? Tell you Finn's lying. That I wasn't raped? That Murphy didn't have to watch me go through that? That I didn't talk for two days after that? That I don't still have nightmares and flashbacks? That for whatever reason, the only arms I feel completely safe and secure in, are Murphys?" I rant at him as tears race down my cheeks.

Murphy chooses then to appear next to me. "Goddess. Breathe." He says gently. I shake my head walking away from them, already feeling Murphy's presence right behind me. I finally stop next to a tree a bit away from the others, and my legs give out. Murphy's arms catch me before I hit the ground, and that's all it took for the tears I was holding back, to pour out.

Sobs rack through me as Murphy holds me against his chest. "It's okay, Goddess. I'm here. I'm not leaving you. Ever." He whispers to me. When my sob finally die down, I shift back. Murphy looks down at me and wipes my cheeks. He looks up behind me, then back down at me. "You're brothers walking over." He tells me softly. "It's fine." I mutter, my voice sounding rough.

I hear the twigs snapping as he gets to our side, sitting on the ground near me. "What can I do? Tell me what I can do.." He says quietly. My eyes flit to him, anger and pain in his eyes. "Keep him away from me." I mutter and he nods. "Not a problem. Murphy already beat the hell out of him." He says softly. "I don't even know what to say right now. I can't... I can't form any of my thoughts into proper sentences." He says staring at the ground.

"How hopeless does someone have to be? To sit on the floor and count out three hours. By the minute." I ask and he looks at me confused. "After they injected me. Before we got back to camp. When I woke up, she was sitting there making these marks on the walls. They were minutes. It was the only thing she could focus on waiting for me to wake up." Murphy explains to him.

"I thought he was dead. And I couldn't bring myself to move and go check. I thought if I could focus on something else, I wouldn't have to think about the possibility of Murphy dying. Being alone there." I say sniffling. "Do you want to go further? It's up to you." Bellamy tells me. "Where are the others?" I ask him.

"He spotted one of the grounders had Clarkes watch. Even though Keran assured him no one was there of us." He tells me and I nod. "Just... make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. We will follow behind." I tell him and he nods getting up. "I love you little sister." He tells me a softly. "Love you big brother." I hum with a weak smile. 

He heads off as Murphy helps me up. We trail after him slowly and as we get to the hatch of where Bellamy disappeared, there's a gunshot. "Bellamy?!" I yell down the hatch. "I'm fine." He calls. I move when Finn comes up and turn away from him. He starts walking as the others come up. "What happened?" Murphy asks. "He shot the grounder that had Clarkes watch." Bellamy tells us. 

"Of course. Let's piss off the grounders." I mutter as we turn to follow the manic boy. I walk with Murphy at my side, ignoring everything around me. I couldn't focus, or I'd fight Finn. "You heard what the grounder said." I hear Finn say. "I heard what he said when you had a gun to his head!" Bellamy snaps at him. "Guys." Sterling calls out and we turn seeing bodies littering the ground.
