Chapter 7 lessons

"Hmm I wonder what's going on". I say trying to get a glimpse. Then I see a basket full of... "PUPPIES?!?!" I yell. "Oh my goshhh so cute!!!" I squeal.

"Would you like to hold one of them young miss?" A lady asks me.

"Would I? I'd love too!" I say holding out my hands.
The lady hands me a little dark brown puppy with a small white patch on his eye. The puppy looks at me and licks my nose. I giggle. "Aren't you so precious". I hug the dog. The puppy has the most greenest eyes I've ever seen.

"Would you like to adopt him?" The lady smiles at me asking.
"Me adopt this lil guy?" I think for a second looking at him.

"I think you should your hi- uhm young miss". Kyro says correcting himself.

"I agree, seems he like you". Virgo says.

"Then I will!" I say!

- 5 days later-

I woke up around dawn. It was still slightly dark but I could see the sun peeking up from behind the mountains. I looked over to my left and saw Eren sleeping beside me. I pat him on the head.

I get up and walk out to the balcony. I rest my arms on the railing. The breeze hits my face. It's cold yet it feels nice.

It's crazy to think that only a week ago I woke up and didn't know where I was. But the more I go out and learn about this place it's like my memories are slowly coming back. I'm starting to remember the palace and the people. How I swung on the swings as a little girl in the palace gardens. How grandpa would come and take me out of the castle. But I still can't recall my parents, my mom or dad. The palace I see in my memories and the palace I see now have changed so much. They must of changed a lot throughout the years. Grandpa has definitely aged like 40 years from when I was little. But I'm starting to feel better from the accident. My wounds have definitely been healing.
Although my head still hurts a ton but the tea and cookies I have every night help.

I turn around to go back inside but I see a light shine from the windows. I turn around and see how the sun has halfway come out. The sky has a beautiful red, yellow and light pink. I smile. The sunsets here always make me smile and feel warm.

I go back inside and see Virgo waiting by the door. She has my clothes picked out for today.

"Good morning princess. Your up early today". She says. "Today you'll be starting your lessons in daily etiquette and then move onto your dancing lessons for the upcoming ball happening in about a week. After that you'll have lunch and then from there go to your lessons on how to better use and control your magic". Virgo lists of my schedule for today.

Now that I've almost fully recovered physically, I'm starting up my daily lessons and events. It's not all bad but it's so incredibly boring. It's a pain in the neck and one of the things I can recall doing all the time.

*knock knock* "are you changed your highness?" Someone says from behind the door.

"Yes you may enter". I say.

Kyro walks in. He's been in charge of guarding me now, orders from his majesty. I don't mind though. He's nice and funny. He's so serious yet a goof and clumsy at time too.
Lately though he's been coming more often even though he only needs to when I go into town or elsewhere. I don't get it.

"I'm here to escort you to the dinning hall, his majesty his waiting there to have breakfast with you". He says.

"Thank you sir Kyro". I say back.

"We could've gotten there perfectly fine by ourselves sir Kyro. There's no need for your protection for every little thing". Virgo states.

"Yes well, it is my duty to look after her highness, to protect her from harm". Kyro says back.
