"YOURS HAS extra marshmallows, Jake!"

"Millard, put some pajamas on!" Emma gave the invisible boy an annoyed look.

"How has he already taken his clothes off?" I asked Fiona before taking my arm back and going to my seat, her only response being a laugh.

Millards response to Emma was a complaint about 'it begin too hot in the room' to which Horace quickly replied while sitting down on his chair,"Stop moaning."

Soon after everyone was seated,Miss Peregrine made her way inside the living room, staying close to the door and the light switch, turning the light off so Horace could project his dream.

Jacob, seated next to Emma, had taken the opportunity to ask the girl every question that his brain could make up, "My grandpa told me about this.Horace projects his dreams, right?"

Emma, giving a nod while looking at dream Horace who was buying clothes in his dream, again, gave Jacob some information on Horace's evolution, "He used to listen to the radio.Gets tedious when you know every word off by heart."

Horace's dream had changed, now showing the arrival of Jacob at the house before changing again to show a woman getting captured, screaming and looking horrified.

"Miss Peregrine, do you know her?" Fiona turned around only to see the woman's concerned expression.

"Don't be silly,Horace must have just had a bad dream. That's all." Horace tried reassuring the girl, taking her hand in his and giving it a light squeeze.

The dream changed again, this time showing the front garden, two figures yelling while everyone else quietly stood close to them. With the view moving closer Enoch became more and more recognisable while his yelling became louder, "Next time you think about doing something you can't,just don't! I don't fancy having you death because you don't think twice about your actions!" His thick scottish accent growing stronger with every word.

The real Enoch next to me seemed to have a mix of confusion and disgust on his face. Confusion because he didn't know who his dream version was getting so angry at and why they were all outside at night.
Disgusted because thats what Enoch's face was looking like when he didn't like what he saw.

"Right, don't come to me with that when you almost got killed too! Why didn't you think twice, you arse?" The other figure yelled, making everyone realise who Enoch was fighting with.

It was me.

"Atena—" Before he could continue his sentence, the dream changed again. This time the view was of a dark room, dark enough to not see until you were close but lightened up enough to see where you were going. In the middle were two figures,a girl and a boy.
"Is that Emma?" Millard, who had fought his way on the couch next to me asked, getting no answer in response.

The two became more visible, confirming the boy's suspicion. Emma and Jacob were leaning in,slowly closing the space between them.

A few "Aww"'s were heard from Fiona,Claire,Olive and Bronwyn before Miss Peregrine decided it was enough and turned the lights back on,thanking Horace for his performance.

"I should probably get going." Jacob said quietly, now looking a little uncomfortable.

"You could stay the night, if you wanted to...rather than walk home alone in the dark." Miss Peregrine threw the boy a small smile.

Her offering begin shut down by Emma,"But the island is very safe, isn't it?",her tone suggesting she did not want Jacob to stay anymore.

I raised an eyebrow at Emma, only to be ignored,
"Of course!I only meant the path is dreadfully bumpy,Jake could trip.Perhaps you could show him the shortcuts.Should he ever need to avoid bumps." Miss Peregrine gave her a wink.
