It was night A'zariah let out a breath, turning back and forth in her bed she couldn't sleep tonight. All she was thinking was what Ma'khari said a few nights ago.

"Aye, you know you can talk to me, right? I'll listen. " Was all that was running through her mind.

𝑻𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 her thoughts said to her. She wanted to tell them what happened to her four years ago. She felt like she needed to get it off her chest.

She wanted to tell Ty'shawn and Jadayah and Ma'khari what happened to her, and eventually her mama and her friends too. A'zariah didn't know why, In all honesty, she knew she could keep it quiet forever, but for some reason, she didn't want to. Even though she knew it was hard as hell to talk about it.

Maybe because she trusted them so bad, maybe because she knows they don't play about her. A'zariah thought reminiscing about what happened almost a week ago. Maybe because she sees them as her family. Maybe because she knew they would believe her, unlike 𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅

A'zariah thought back on her father that day when she told him what happened to her. Her eyebrows furrowed he didn't believe his own daughter, thought it was just a regular nightmare, acted like it never happened, still having him in the same house the same day. The thought of that wanted to make A'zariah break down and cry. The thought of that also made A'zariah angry inside. Where all the anger and resentment from him started. Her father didn't even realize how much that broke A'zariah, probably more than what Cameron did to her.

She wanted to cut her dad out of her life for good. A'zariah thought to herself, her father kept breaking, doing more bad to her than fixing her. Then doing more good to her. She didn't know when she was gonna cut him off for good, but she knew it would be time for it when it came. A'zariah didn't need her biological father in her life anymore. She got one, Ty'shawn he did more foe A'zariah and her siblings in a few months than their father ever did in four years. The thought of that made A'zariah smile.

She didn't know when she was gonna tell her mama, but she does come back home a few days before Christmas. "I'll tell her then." A'zariah said quietly outloud to herself. She didn't know why she was so nervous to tell her momma. She was just scared what she was gonna think or say. A'zariah was tired of being scared.

A'zariah tried to go back to sleep, but she couldn't. "You know you can talk to me right, ill listen," Tired of being scared, was the two things that kept running through her mind, keeping her up.

Tried of being scared her thoughts said to her. With that, A'zariah got up and slid off her bed on her way to Ty'shawn and Jada's room.

She contemplated turning back she was nervous as hell. She was now standing at Ty'shawn and Jada room door nervous to knock. It felt like deja vu, like the first day she came here after her first day at her new school, standing there at the front door nervous to knock. Crazy how so much changed.

Please believe me.  A'zariah finally thought, closing her eyes and knocking on their door.

A few seconds later, Jada opened the door face to face. Again, it all felt like deja vu, but this time, it was different.

"Hey Azzy, you okay? What's wrong?" Jada said.

"I'm okay. I just wanted to talk to yall about something," I said, touching my hair nervously.

A'zariah was now in their room she sat on the side of her bed. She was so nervous, her heart thumping like crazy, and her hands were sweaty. Ty'shawn and Jadayah looked at A'zariah, waiting for her to talk.
